Romance in the Golden Triangle

Golden Triangle, Thailand

Every fairytale wedding needs an equally magical getaway for some rest and recuperation from all the euphoria of celebration. And what better place than Four Seasons Tented Camp Golden Triangle, where nature meets luxury in a gorgeous rustic setting.

"Glamping where three countries meet – Thailand, Myanmar and Laos – in a perfect blend of natural beauty and endless adventure, guests can create lasting memories, beyond their special day of celebration,” smiles Paweena Waraha, Camp Manager.

Glamping in Style

After a longtail boat ride down the Ruak River to reach the Camp, guests can check into the luxury Tents, surrounded by bamboo jungles in a tropical setting. From the elephant-tusk-styled door to the rustic wooden furnishings, the leather-tufted chairs and open shower, it’s a private wonderland that’s perfect for two. “Guests can drown out the world and tune into the call of nature,” shares Waraha.

Time to Relax

Perched at the edge of the jungle, the open-air spa offers a one-of-a-kind rejuvenating experience, specialising in signature Thai therapies infused with mountain botanicals and inspired by jungle views. The invigorating couple’s experience is highlighted by lilting birdsong and murmur of the bamboos that surround.

Memorable Meals

“From sunrise breakfast at Camp Peak, the highest point at the Camp, to sundowners at Burma Bar while catching the gorgeous sunset over the Ruak River, there’s no dearth of unique dining experiences,” smiles Waraha. Guests can choose to end the day with a private candlelit dinner at Elephant Camp while watching the gentle giants turn in for the night, or enjoy a romantic riverside dinner at the jungle peninsula.

Adventure for Two

For guests who are looking to head off on an adventure together, there are several exciting unpacking list of experiences  that will make this getaway a memorable one. “Walk through the wilderness with the elephants, and observe their rituals in their daily habitat, guided by our able mahout. Head to vibrant Chiang Rai and check out their striking temples with a private guide or learn to fish with the local fishermen along the Mekong River. No better souvenir than memories of a magical adventure!” Waraha adds.

Sip and Savour

No time like a honeymoon to raise a toast. And while at the Camp, guests can indulge in a wine pairing dinner under a recreated thatched roof at the Wine Cellar. A wine cave with an impressive collection of vintages, the Wine Cellar has a selection of wines that’s sure to impress any connoisseur. Couples can either opt for a private dinner or a tasting session with the in-house expert, either way, it’s going to be a night to remember. “For the more adventurous, there’s a Roving or Bucket sundowner waiting… find out more when you stay with us!” smiles Waraha.
