Game, Set, Summer: Serving Up the Ultimate British Escape at Four Seasons Hotel Hampshire
As anticipation builds for the summer season and the return of the iconic Wimbledon Championships, Four Seasons Hotel Hampshire invites guests to experience one of the world’s most celebrated sporting events in style. Located just 50 minutes by car from the All England Lawn Tennis & Croquet Club, the hotel offers proximity to the tournament, perfectly paired with thoughtfully curated on-property experiences designed to capture the spirit and excitement of Wimbledon.
More Than Just Strawberries and Cream
To celebrate the Wimbledon season, Four Seasons Hotel Hampshire has reimagined the quintessentially British Afternoon Tea, inspired by the timeless flavours synonymous with the iconic tournament. Served daily in the elegant Drawing Room from June 29 to July 12, 2026, the limited-edition Afternoon Tea features a refined selection of seasonal savouries and handcrafted pastries, from a Four Seasons take on a cucumber sandwich and coronation chicken with apricot and raisin on harissa bread, to indulgent strawberry and cream entremets, pistachio financier and chocolate and caramelia tarts.
Guests can of course enjoy freshly baked plain and sultana scones, served with Devonshire clotted cream and homemade lemon curd, alongside a curated selection of fine teas.
The specialty Afternoon Tea is priced at GBP 90 per person.
The Winning Serve
At The Bar at Wild Carrot, guests can raise a glass to the summer season with a collection of specially crafted cocktails. Created by Bar Manager Surinder Virk, the seasonal menu blends playful flavours with refined mixology in the bar’s elegant surroundings over-looking the 500-acre (200 hectare) estate.
Highlights include the Summer Punch - a cocktail featuring tequila, Aperol, grapefruit juice, lime and agave - or the Summer Sundowner with gin and delicious elderflower, alongside the alcohol-free Mountain Rose Spritz, combining Everleaf Mountain, Wild Idol Rosé and fresh strawberry for a refreshing nod to the tournament’s most iconic flavour. Whether after a game of tennis or a day spent courtside at Wimbledon, The Bar at Wild Carrot offers the perfect setting to unwind and celebrate the season.
Stay and Play
Guests have the opportunity to perfect their swing on the hotel’s very own tennis courts on the estate - available all summer. Returning for 2026, resident tennis coach Victor Batista will be available for private coaching and group sessions, offering his wealth of expertise to players of all ages and levels through the summer, until the first week of September.
