This year, both mooncake collections have introduced a new package design. Lung King Heen’s mooncake box channels the significance of the moon in the form of a round box. The elegant design features multiple layers of paper and textures, complete with a rechargeable LED folding paper lantern that can also be used as a desk lamp, enhancing the mid-autumn experience. Four Seasons Hong Kong mooncake box design is renewed with a brighter palette and innovative design characteristics, brilliantly preserving the sophistication and practicality of a sturdy packaging that resounds a timeless representation of the moon — of harmony and togetherness.  It is complete with a stylish, reusable tote bag embossed with Love In Hong Kong text, encouraging customers to reduce single-use packaging.

Lung King Heen Mooncakes

Two Michelin starred Lung King Heen is home to a series of classic mooncakes. Executive Chinese Chef Chan Yan Tak and his experienced culinary brigade have created a brand new flavour to match with this year’s festivities, while also bringing back the popular signature mooncakes.

• The new Winter Melon Paste Mooncakes with Rose (6 pieces; HKD 628) sees the sweet melon filling elevated with the infusion of the floral rose, enticing with just the right level of sweetness within the renewed classic pastry case.
• Cream Custard Mooncakes with Toasted Pine Nuts (6 pieces; HKD 628) features a velvety custard filling that is perfectly complemented by the nutty flavour of toasted pine nuts.
• Preserved Egg and Pickled Ginger Mooncakes (6 pieces; HKD 628) turn the traditional Cantonese “Century Egg Pastry” into mooncake form, where the preserved egg taking centre stage, accented with sweet and crisp pickled ginger.
• White Lotus Seed Paste Mooncakes with Black Truffle and Salted Egg Yolk (6 pieces; HKD 668) gives the traditional white lotus seed paste mooncake a lift with the earthy black truffle.
• An Assorted Signature Mooncake boxset (6 pieces; HKD 668) is available featuring Winter Melon Paste Mooncakes with Rose, Preserved Egg and Pickled Ginger Mooncakes, and White Lotus Seed Paste Mooncakes with Black Truffle and Salted Egg Yolk in a box of six (two pieces per flavour). Guests can opt for a special gift package (HKD 888) pairing the boxset with a Vintage 2009 Mellow Pu’er Tea Cake (125 gram).

Four Seasons Hong Kong Mooncakes

For more traditional and refined palates for the Mid-Autumn Festival, Four Seasons Hong Kong offers its notable classic Mooncake Set. The boxset features three pairs of signature mooncakes, including White Lotus Seed Paste Mooncakes with Salted Egg Yolk; Mini Egg Custard Mooncakes; and this year’s brand new Mini Red Bean Paste Mooncakes with Mandarin Peel. The boxes of six mooncakes are available at HKD 588 per box.

From now until August 31, 2024, early bird savings is available for bulk orders with up to 35 percent savings:

• 1-19 boxes — 15 percent off
• 20-49 boxes — 20 percent off
• 50-99 boxes — 25 percent off
• 100+ boxes — 30 percent off
• 300+ boxes — 35 percent off

Deliveries of small-scale mooncake orders up to one carton (ie. 20 boxes) will start at HKD 200 (Hong Kong Island); HKD 300 (Kowloon); and HKD 500 (New Territories). Delivery cost will increase at HKD 200 per carton, with extra charges to be applied for specific delivery time arrangements.
