‘Tis the Season to Celebrate and Give Back: Heartfelt Festivities at Four Seasons Resort Bali
This festive season, Four Seasons Resorts Bali harness the spirit of togetherness with two programs woven through with culture, community connection, and care. From the hill- and beachside enclave of Four Seasons Resort Jimbaran Bay to the sacred riverside setting of Four Seasons Resort Sayan, heart-warming and inspiring events set the scene for meaningful moments, while support of Balinese charities creates ripples of love.
Ancient Balinese dining rituals, festive forest feasts, and marine-themed tree illuminations are all underpinned by Four Seasons steadfast commitment to sustaining Bali’s land, sea and local community - nurturing a sense of generosity and shared joy.
Festive Marine Magic
Four Seasons Resort Bali at Jimbaran Bay kicks off the festivities with the illumination of its dazzling marine-inspired Christmas tree, made from sustainable materials to highlight the Resort’s ongoing support of coral conservation initiatives. The scene is set by talented choristers from Bina Vokalia Bali, and guests are invited to bring toys to donate through the Bali Children's Project, a charity dedicated to helping children "escape poverty through education." Christmas Day at Sundara brings further waves of festive cheer, from the excitement of a surfing Santa to access to Bali’s longest beachfront pool, cabanas, non-motorised water sports and the eco-friendly Umah Rare Kids Club. Across at Four Seasons Resort Bali at Sayan Valley, Santa arrives in similarly exhilaratingly style: rafting down the mighty Ayung River to the Riverside Pool, bringing Christmas greetings and surprises for guests of all ages at the Pici Pici Kids Club.
The Season of Giving
A generosity program at Four Seasons Resort Jimbaran Bay immerses guests in the feel-good glow of the “season of giving.” Guests can indulge in Sundara’s Christmas Afternoon Tea knowing that a percentage of sales go towards the life-changing work of the Bali Children’s Project. Guilt-free seasonal sipping comes courtesy of cocktail donations to coral reef restoration charity Ocean Gardener. Since its inception, the Resort’s zero-waste cocktail bar TELU has raised funds for a total of five coral frames now boasting 125 live corals in nearby Lipah Bay, Karangasem.
Family Fun
Within the river jungle setting of Four Seasons Resort Bali at Sayan Valley, the Pici Pici Kids Club will be home to themed days, from Sports to Garden, Wellness to Balinese Culture, as well as engaging shows from Bali Bird Park experts who combine bird conservation education with hands-on interaction. In the oceanfront surrounds of Four Seasons Resort Bali at Jimbaran Bay, kids can dive into all sorts of celebrations at the Umah Rare Kids Club with a pool party, games, dressed-up characters and delicious treats. Kids’ movie nights also give parents a chance for alone time.
Tropical Feasting
Bali’s vibrant flavours and culinary traditions shine in a host of celebratory festive feasts. At Four Seasons Resort Bali at Sayan Valley, riverside spreads and a treetop New Year Ayung Terrace dinner sing with seasonal flavours from across the Indonesian archipelago and beyond. Embracing the spirit of togetherness, the ancient Megibung event celebrates unity with rare Balinese recipes and live cooking. For a more intimate experience, six-course private dining options by the river, lotus pond, or in-villa offer meaningful moments of connection.
There's also sizzling Christmas and New Year brunches at the oceanside Sundara, reflecting Jimbaran’s iconic beach barbecue culture; a lavish New Year’s Eve buffet at Taman Wantilan, and an oceanside party with fireworks to usher in 2025 in style.

Rejuvenating wellness experiences provide a blissed-out balance to the festivities. At The Sacred River Spa at Four Seasons Resort Bali at Sayan Valley, Balinese healing rituals such as the Tirta Ening water ceremony and the Harmonic Flow massage with sound healing restore a sense of wholeness; in addition, all treatments booked during the festive period include a special spa gift. On New Year’s Day, guests can join resident wellness mentor and former Buddhist nun Ibu Fera to set intentions for the year ahead, ensuring a purposeful start to 2025.
