Celebrate the Season of Giving: Meaningful Ways to Give Back with Four Seasons Resort Bali at Jimbaran Bay
Celebrate the “Season of Giving” at Four Seasons Resort Bali at Jimbaran Bay:
Kindness in Every Slice
World Kindness Day on November 13 saw Four Seasons hotels and resorts worldwide embrace the brand’s culture of care and personalised service. Inspired by this year’s theme of Food at the Heart, Four Seasons Resort Bali at Jimbaran Bay has crafted a sweet way to give back - a limited-edition Bali Bliss Cocoa Raspberry Gâteau created by Executive Pastry Chef David Peduzzi. Available at Sundara or to takeaway, from November 13, 2024 throughout the festive season, Chef David’s stunning creation is inspired by the lush landscapes of Bali. Balinese bounty graces the artfully constructed cake, including raspberries from Bedugul and chocolate from Tabanan. Proceeds support Scholars of Sustenance, a charity dedicated to reducing food waste and hunger in local communities.
Spread Smiles to Those in Need
The Resort will be spreading seasonal smiles through its festive partnership with Bali Children’s Project, a charity that supports underprivileged children to escape poverty through education. Guests visiting Four Seasons Resort Jimbaran Bay between December 15 to 31, 2024 are invited to bring donations such as gently used toys, school supplies, books and educational games, technology, puzzles, and dolls. These gifts will be wrapped by the Four Seasons team and placed under the dazzling marine-inspired Christmas tree - made from sustainable materials to highlight the Resort’s ongoing support of coral conservation initiatives - ready for the children to unwrap as part of our festivities. Nurturing the spirit of shared joy, guests are also invited to join the Christmas tree lighting ceremony accompanied by talented choristers from Bina Vokalia Bali on December 21.
Indulge in the “Season of Giving”
Indulgence comes guilt-free at the Resort this festive season with the Nourish Your Spirit package. Guests can enjoy a lavish two-hour treatment at The Healing Village Spa followed by Sundara’s Festive Afternoon Tea, happy in the knowledge that a percentage of sales go to Bali Children’s Project. After sublime treatment of Nourishing the Feminine Spirit or Romantic Spirit at The Healing Village Spa, enjoy our spa facilities for longer with afternoon tea and culinary delights such as Mini Lobster Rolls; Truffled Mushroom and Parmesan Gougère; Lime and Passion Fruit Tart, and Mocha Mousse.
Feel-Good Festive Drinks
Further feel-good vibes can be found through seasonal sipping, thanks to a partnership with coral reef restoration charity Ocean Gardener. Since its inception, the Resort’s zero-waste cocktail bar TELU has raised funds for a total of five coral frames, now boasting 125 live corals in nearby Lipah Bay, Karangasem. As part of the Resort’s Season of Giving, proceeds from the sale of three special cocktails and one mocktail will be funding further coral growth. Guests can savour a divine combination of gin, honey, lemon and sparkling wine in Golden Hour; Let It Rain’s tropical tastes of tequila blanco, lychee, ginger, agave and lime, or an artful blend of bourbon, cacao bitters and spiced honey in Huntsman. Free from alcohol but big on flavour, Wishlist is a refreshing concoction of mango, orange, allspice and ginger beer.
Year-Round Mangrove Love
Care for Bali’s natural beauty spreads well beyond seasonal festivities. Sundara’s Mangrove Revival cocktail is available year-round with proceeds helping to protect local mangrove forests, a vital yet endangered tropical ecosystem. Every purchase of this floral fusion of gin, mangrove flowers, raspberry, absinthe and citrus funds the planting of mangrove trees that reduce erosion and support marine life.
“Bee” the Change
Another experience available not just this festive season but year-round is the Resort’s Adopt A Beehive experience. For IDR 2,000,000++, up to two people can visit the Resort’s beehives, try some of the nutrient-rich local honey they produce, and refresh with a delicious honey cocktail. Take-home treats include jars of honey and the warm glow of supporting the winged friends who pollinate Jimbaran Bay’s herb garden and add to its ecology. A name marker is placed on the adopted beehive to celebrate the adopter’s generosity, as well as on the Four Seasons Resort Bali Tree of Hope at the Mangrove Ranger Community Base Camp in Benoa.
Enjoy “Wheely” Good Vibes
Further onsite fun comes courtesy of the Resort’s Build a Bike experience. Families can come together to learn new skills while experiencing the joy of giving back. Under the guidance of an expert, guests can help assemble a bicycle to donate to a Balinese orphanage. What better way to spread smiles than through the freedom of two wheels?
