Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui Brings the Island Together for the 16th Cancer Care Charity Fun Run
Marking sixteen years of community impact, the Cancer Care Charity Fun Run returns to Nathon Pier on Saturday, September 26, 2026. Hosted by Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui in association with The Thai Red Cross Society, the event offers two-, five- and ten-kilometre routes, inviting participants to run, jog or walk in support of cancer care.
Beyond the finish line, the annual run reflects Koh Samui’s shared commitment to cancer care, with every step helping to turn collective effort into meaningful support. Proceeds from this year's event will benefit the Queen Sirikit Centre for Breast Cancer at King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital under the Thai Red Cross Society, contributing to facility improvements and the acquisition of medical equipment to support breast cancer patients.
“The Cancer Care Charity Fun Run has always been about the power of community,” says Jasjit Assi, General Manager. “Four Seasons may help bring everyone together, but it is the generosity and participation of our residents, local businesses and visitors that give every step its meaning. We are proud to continue this shared commitment to cancer care.”
The continued support of the Koh Samui community has played an important role in the event’s growth over the years. In 2025, the run welcomed 1,158 participants and raised more than THB 700,000, reflecting the community's continued commitment to supporting cancer care.
On event day, registration will begin at 5:00 am, followed by the start of the event at 6:00 am. The participation fee is THB 500 per person and includes an event T-shirt and breakfast box. A lucky draw will also offer a selection of prizes, including vouchers from other Four Seasons properties, along with dining and spa experiences.
The first-place finisher in the ten-kilometre category will be awarded the Queen Suthida Cup, adding a special competitive element to a morning centred on community participation and collective support.
While the event brings the Koh Samui community together each year, it reflects the wider Four Seasons commitment to supporting cancer-related initiatives worldwide. Since 1981, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts around the world have hosted charitable events in a variety of formats. In Thailand, Four Seasons Tented Camp Golden Triangle, Four Seasons Resort Chiang Mai and Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui have continued this commitment through charity runs for the past 22 years, collectively raising more than THB 41.7 million for cancer research projects.
