Welcome the Year of the Snake, symbolising abundance and refinement, with a treasure trove of elegant flavours that merge cherished tradition with Four Seasons flair.

A special celebration for family and friends unfolds as the hotel is adorned with Chinese New Year décor, setting the perfect atmosphere for a memorable gathering filled with laughter and joy. Starting on January 6, 2025, the celebrations will continue until February 12, with special events to mark the occasion of Lunar New Year on January 28 and 29, with the God of Prosperity making a symbolic appearance to share goodie bags and pose for photos.

Lunar New Year Feast: Yun House

Gather with loved ones for an exquisite festive meal at Yun House, the Michelin-selected Cantonese restaurant helmed by Chef Jimmy Wong from Hong Kong. Guests can choose from five signature set menus, featuring classical recipes reimagined with luxurious ingredients and bold touches. Sample standout creations such as the Five Head Abalone with Sun-Dried Oyster and Sea Moss, Crispy Prawns with Wasabi Mayo Aioli, and Fish Maw Dumpling with Cordyceps Flower and Black Garlic. The beloved tradition of Yee Sang tossed salad gets an upgrade with salmon belly and ikura caviar.

Joy and abundance come to life with a globally inspired spread, promising to please all palates through the festive season. Chef Cheong and his team unveil delectable Chinese creations such as Steamed Peking Duck with Egg Roll and Fried Golden Tail Wonton, alongside flavours beyond borders: think Indian curries and tikkas, Arabic tagines and kebabs, Italian pastas and an impressive selection of seafood, salads and carved meats.

Closer to home, enjoy a wide array of Malaysian specialities. Guests can also “toss their way to prosperity” with Yee Sang, elevated by premium ingredients from Curate.

Along with the not-to-be-missed Yee Sang prosperity salad, this sumptuous buffet includes a curation of Oriental salads, premium seafood, roasted duck and chicken, and Asian street foods and desserts. Savour themed sweet delights such as Red Snake (red velvet genoise, lychee-rose mousse, raspberry crèmeux) and Emperor’s Treasure (choux au craquelin, black sesame diplomat, raspberry emulsion). Along with classic scones, enjoy flavours such as Pineapple Five-Spice and Black Sesame with Salted Butter, paired with homemade mandarin-orange jam. The savoury selection features culturally inspired bites crafted with luxurious ingredients. Highlights include Grilled Unagi Roll (unagi eel, kabayaki sauce, miso butter, marigold, roasted sesame roll) and Prosperity Egg (spicy Chinese mustard, coriander seed aioli, gold-dusted milk bread).
