Growing up in Thailand, Naipaporn Panlamoke, fondly known as Aom, discovered early that her passion lay in connecting with people across cultures. An ideal fit for her fascination with “meeting different people in different places,” her hospitality career has been marked by a steady, purposeful ascent over the last 15 years.
After completing an MBA and gaining experience at luxury resorts in Phuket, Aom joined Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui in 2015, beginning an extraordinary chapter that would take her from the beaches of Thailand to the shores of Malaysia. Having refined her skills in villa operations, housekeeping and front office, she gravitated towards the rooms division, finding immense fulfilment in its combination of service and personal interaction. Her four-year tenure in Koh Samui saw her climb the ladder from Assistant Front Office Manager to Assistant Director of Rooms, along with lending her expertise to a task force at the brand’s property in Beirut.
In 2019, she became Assistant Camp Manager at Four Seasons Tented Camp Golden Triangle, a challenging assignment where she had to uphold operational excellence in a remote luxury camping environment. She then moved to Four Seasons Resort Chiang Mai, playing a vital role in enhancing guest satisfaction levels, before arriving at Four Seasons Resort Langkawi where she oversees daily operations across Front Office, Concierge, Guest Experience, Housekeeping, Recreation and Kids Club.
At the heart of Aom’s work philosophy is a simple principle: communication builds trust. “When you really listen, people feel seen – and that’s when great things happen,” she says, emphasizing the value of small, consistent gestures of care and appreciation, be it delighting a guest with a special touch they loved on their previous stay or acknowledging a team member’s unique contribution.
A defining moment in Aom’s career came when she made the shift from co-worker and friend to team leader. How did she navigate the tricky transition? Through open, collaborative communication. “I’ve learned that the most valuable lessons often come from the hardest conversations. We learn together and embrace our mistakes as opportunities,” she reflects.
Viewing the entire Resort as her “office,” Aom is rarely found sitting still behind her desk. On a typical day, you’ll find her moving across the property, connecting with guests, mentoring staff and seeking ways to enhance the guest experience. Her focus on pre-planning and delegation is key to achieving seamless operations even during busy seasons.
Looking ahead, she sees wellness, personalization and authentic local rituals continuing to reshape the hospitality landscape. Led by her vision, the team is inspired to craft memorable moments that evoke a distinct sense of place, enabling guests to connect with the true spirit of Langkawi
Outside of work, Aom finds renewal in the outdoors through hiking, cycling, and running. A self-professed foodie, she’s always eager to discover the next great café or hidden restaurant.
