Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas Announces Special Initiative for National Food Bank Day and National Cheeseburger Day

August 26, 2024,
Las Vegas, U.S.A.

Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas announces a special initiative in celebration of National Food Bank Day on September 6 and National Cheeseburger Day on September 18. Throughout September 2024, the Hotel will donate USD 1 from every Sin City Burger sold to Three Square Food Bank, a leading organization committed to ending hunger in Southern Nevada.

Three Square Food Bank is highly effective in its mission to combat hunger. For every USD 1 raised, the organization provides three meals to those in need. This capability underscores the significant impact each donation has in addressing food insecurity within the community.

“We are deeply excited to support Three Square Food Bank through this initiative,” says Konrad Gstrein, Regional Vice President and General Manager of Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas. “As National Food Bank Day and National Cheeseburger Day approach this September, integrating a commitment to community service into these events is a point of pride. Team members will volunteer with Three Square on September 6, 2024, emphasizing our collective dedication to making a positive impact. Everyone is invited to join this meaningful cause by enjoying the Sin City Burger and contributing to the fight against hunger. Together, it is possible to make a significant difference while providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests.”

The Sin City Burger, a delectable creation by Executive Chef Michael Goodman featuring two 4 ounce wagyu beef patties, Chef’s Sauce, caramelized onions, thick-cut bacon, pickles and cheddar cheese, will be available at all of the Hotel’s dining venues: Veranda, PRESS Lounge, Oasis Pool, and through in-room dining.

To enhance the dining experience, Four Seasons is highlighting unique beverage pairings at each venue:

  • Veranda: Pair the Sin City Burger with a glass of Ravel & Stitch Cabernet Sauvignon, Central Coast 2020. This full-bodied wine's bold flavours and smooth finish are a perfect match for the burger's complex profile. The cabernet's dark fruit notes and robust tannins complement the rich, umami flavours of the wagyu beef and the caramelized onions, while its structure cuts through the burger's richness, enhancing the overall dining experience.
  • Oasis Pool: Indulge in the Sin City Burger poolside with a refreshing Hibiscus Margarita. This vibrant cocktail, made with El Jimador tequila, Cointreau, lime, and hibiscus syrup, provides a tropical contrast to the burger's savoury profile. The margarita’s tart lime and floral hibiscus flavours brighten the burger's rich, fatty elements, while the sweetness from the hibiscus syrup balances the savoury and smoky notes from the bacon and cheddar cheese.
  • PRESS Lounge: Enjoy the Sin City Burger as bite-size sliders with the Hotel’s exclusive 4 PRESS IPA, locally brewed by Able Baker Brewing. This IPA's floral notes from citra hops and tropical fruit nuances from mosaic hops beautifully complement the sliders’ rich, savoury flavours. The fresh citrus aroma from the orange peel in the IPA enhances the tangy notes of the Chef’s Sauce and the sharpness of the cheddar cheese, while the beer’s clean finish balances the sliders' indulgent, fatty elements.
  • In-Room Dining: Savour the Sin City Burger from the comfort of a private sanctuary, available 24 hours a day, paired with Chardonnay, Flowers Vineyards & Winery, Sonoma Coast, California. This chardonnay’s bright citrus and apple notes cut through the burger’s rich, savoury flavours, while its creamy texture and subtle oak influence complement the wagyu beef and cheddar cheese. The wine’s balanced acidity refreshes the palate, enhancing the burger’s indulgent elements.
