Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas is proud to welcome internationally acclaimed fine-art photographer and author Anouk Masson Krantz as its latest Artist-in-Residence, debuting her evocative exhibition, Spirit of The West. Best known for her black-and-white, large-scale contemporary works, celebrating the American West, Krantz has earned global recognition for her authentic depictions of cowboy life and sweeping Western landscapes.

Born and raised in France, Krantz moved to New York City in the late 1990s and left a corporate career to pursue her passion for photography. Over the last decade, she has logged more than 125,000 miles across the American West, gradually earning the trust of the private ranching community and capturing rare access to a world few outsiders ever see. Her works have been celebrated with prestigious accolades, including the International Photography Awards, the International Monochrome Awards, and the Wrangler Award from the 2023 Western Heritage Awards.

Her photography has been featured in leading publications such as Vanity Fair, Town & Country, Harper’s Bazaar, Time, and Departures, and her bestselling books have included special forewords from Yellowstone creator Taylor Sheridan and songwriter Bernie Taupin. In 2023, Cowboys & Indians named her a Trailblazer of the West alongside cultural icons Lainey Wilson, Joanna Gaines, and Quannah Chasinghorse.

“It’s an honour to share Spirit of The West at Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas, where the tranquillity and luxury of the Hotel mirror the spirit of the landscapes I capture. With expansive views of the Mojave Desert and a design sensibility rooted in nature, this setting offers guests a moment of stillness amidst the city – and a deeper connection to the American West,” said Anouk Masson Krantz.

The exhibition is part of the Hotel’s curated Artist-in-Residence series, designed to create moments of discovery for both artists and guests. For artists, it offers an intimate stage to share their work with a global audience outside traditional gallery walls. For guests, it is an invitation to encounter contemporary voices in unexpected ways – whether through themes that echo the natural world or reflect the cultural rhythms shaping Las Vegas today. Each residency is thoughtfully chosen to spark connection, conversation, and the possibility of collecting, enriching the Four Seasons experience with a deeper sense of place through art.

Positioned as the gateway to the Southwest, Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas embraces its unique vantage point – On The Strip, Off The Grid. Guests enjoy the energy of the city while being invited into experiences that connect them to the expansive desert landscapes and cultural traditions that surround it. Exhibitions like Spirit of the West capture this balance perfectly, offering a sense of escape while remaining rooted in the region’s spirit.

“At Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas, we strive to create experiences that transport our guests beyond The Strip and into the heart of what makes this region so extraordinary. Anouk’s work does exactly that – inviting viewers to pause, reflect, and immerse themselves in the heart of the West. It is a privilege to share her artistry with our guests,” said Kathryn Freymuller, Commercial Director, Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas, and Curator of the Artist-in-Residence program.

Spirit of the West is currently on view at Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas. Guests and visitors are invited to explore the collection throughout the Hotel and share their experiences on social media by tagging @FSLasVegas and using #FSLasVegas.
