CURA at Four Seasons Hotel Ritz Lisbon Retains Michelin Star in the Michelin Guide 2026, Reaffirming its Place Among Portugal's Finest Tables
The exceptional team at CURA, led by Chef Rodolfo Lavrador, has retained the prestigious distinction of one Michelin star for the fifth consecutive year, celebrated at the Michelin Guide Portugal 2026 Gala in Funchal, Madeira, an event dedicated to celebrating the very best of Portuguese cuisine. This outstanding achievement speaks to the restaurant's unwavering commitment to culinary excellence since its debut in October 2020.
For Chef Rodolfo Lavrador, this fifth recognition carries a particular significance: "Receiving this distinction once again is an immense honour and, above all, a recognition of the hard work, passion, creativity and dedication of the entire team. Each year, this distinction reminds us of why we do what we do. At CURA, we seek to tell stories through food, celebrating Portuguese ingredients and creating experiences that stay with those who visit us. This award inspires us to keep evolving and to explore new ways of expressing our gastronomic identity.”
Guilherme Costa, General Manager at Four Seasons Hotel Ritz Lisbon, echoes that sentiment with pride: "To retain a Michelin star for five consecutive years is no small feat; it is the result of an extraordinary collective effort. I am immensely proud of Chef Rodolfo Lavrador, Sous-Chef Marina Garcia, Restaurant Manager Diogo Martinho, and the entire CURA team, whose talent and dedication continue to set the standard for fine dining in Lisbon."
At CURA, guests are invited on a culinary journey through contemporary Portuguese cuisine, expressed through two tasting menu formats: one of ten moments and another of five, both available in vegetarian options. Each dish is a careful composition of the finest local ingredients, reflecting the team's deep respect for Portuguese culinary heritage and their constant pursuit of innovation.
Four Seasons continues to hold the highest number of Michelin Stars among luxury hospitality brands — a global legacy of culinary excellence, of which CURA is proud to be part.
Beyond Michelin recognition, Four Seasons properties are celebrated across the world's most prestigious culinary platforms, including 50 Best, La Liste, Black Pearl, Gault&Millau, and Wine Spectator, among others.
About CURA
Skillful curatorship – curadoria in Portuguese – lies at the heart of CURA, the signature restaurant at Four Seasons Hotel Ritz Lisbon. Opened in 2020, CURA needs no introduction in Lisbon's fine-dining scene and has since attracted international acclaim. Within its first year, the restaurant was awarded a Michelin star, which has been retained and renewed ever since. With its façade and entrance on Lisbon’s Rua Rodrigo da Fonseca, CURA is both of the city and of the Hotel.
Like the timeless Portuguese modern artworks that frame the Hotel’s common areas, both the space and CURA’s gastronomic approach reveal layers of complexity to evoke an emotional and sensorial response.
With a total of 28 seats, CURA is open for dinner only every day, from 7:00 to 10:00 pm.
CURA offers two tasting menus: one of five courses and a more extensive one, of 10 courses, a journey into the flavours of contemporary Portuguese cuisine. All menus have wine or soft pairing options.
