A Michelin-Starred Masterpiece: Pavyllon London Launches New Winter Afternoon Tea at Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane
Pavyllon London at Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane is debuting a special winter afternoon tea, reimagined with Michelin-starred flair. Set within the Pavyllon Lounge - transformed with sparkling festive décor and a towering 25-foot real spruce Christmas tree for the holiday season - guests are invited to indulge in an elevated take on the timeless British teatime ritual, blended with the best of French gastronomy.
Created by Executive Chef Benjamin Ferra Y Castell, under the guidance of the world’s most decorated Michelin-starred Chef, Yannick Alléno, the afternoon tea opens with a series of savoury delights that marry British ingredients with French finesse. These include a lobster tartlet, a stuffed courgette filled with Comté cheese, and the star of the show: a miniature pâté en croute with pork pluma, wood pigeon, mallard, partridge and foie gras.*
A generous array of pâtisserie follows, featuring a coffee and hazelnut Paris-Brest, a tart citron, and a smoked vanilla crème brûlée infused with Laphroaig whisky. Freshly baked scones with homemade conserves, including clementine marmalade, precede the festive finale: a bitesize Bûche de Noël (Yule log) with indulgent layers of buckwheat praline and chocolate mousse.
To sweeten the occasion, each guest will be treated to a surprise to take home – a handcrafted Dubai Chocolate gingerbread man, complete with kadaifi and pistachio.
The Winter Afternoon Tea is priced at GBP 95 per person, including free-flowing teas.
Available Friday – Sunday afternoons from 2:30 to 4:30 pm until end of February.
Book via OpenTable here.
*Vegetarian and pescetarian versions of the afternoon tea are available.
