Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills Introduces The Penalty Box, A Luxury Football-Inspired Sports Lounge
As international football fever takes hold this summer, Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills unveils The Penalty Box, a limited-time transformation of The Lounge into a refined, immersive match-viewing experience.
Running from June 8 through August 2, 2026, The Penalty Box captures the spirited energy of a classic sports bar through the lens of Four Seasons hospitality—blending elevated dining, expertly crafted cocktails, and polished service in a setting designed for everything from pre-match anticipation to post-match celebrations.
For the occasion, The Lounge is reimagined as an intimate, design-forward gathering space layered with rich wood and marble finishes, leather seating, vintage-inspired artwork, and a layered mix of vintage artwork and sports memorabilia. The result is warm, stylish, and intentionally intimate—a place to settle in for every dramatic moment while lingering well beyond the final whistle.
“Los Angeles is one of the most dynamic and football-passionate cities in the world, and this summer marks a rare cultural moment for the sport here,” says Sebastian Hinsch, General Manager of Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills. “With The Penalty Box, we wanted to capture that energy in a way that still feels true to who we are. It’s about great food, great drinks, and the shared experience of the game.”
A Global Menu with Game Day Soul
Inspired by football’s international spirit, the menu reimagines classic match-day favourites through a refined, globally influenced lens. Highlights include choripán with Argentinian chorizo and chimichurri, savoury churros with fonduta and Jamón Ibérico, and fried chicken paired with serrano goddess sauce and house-made hot sauce.
Signature indulgences such as a wagyu blend burger with truffle aioli and a fried fish sandwich topped with caviar reflect the property’s elevated approach, while shareable dishes—including truffle Manchego croquettes, mozzarella sticks with arrabbiata, and wagyu pigs in a blanket—bring a playful, indulgent dimension to the experience. Desserts channel a sense of nostalgia, with a Neapolitan ice cream sandwich, classic soft-serve sundae, and pistachio-apricot semifreddo.
A Cocktail Program Built for the Beautiful Game
The beverage program channels a high-energy, globally minded approach, with signature cocktails inspired by international football culture, match day rituals, and iconic destinations around the world. The list balances Champagne-topped celebratory serves, bittersweet aperitivo-style cocktails, and refreshing highballs, alongside a curated selection of local and international beers.
Highlights include Coupe du Monde, a celebratory pour of Martell Cordon Bleu Cognac and Perrier-Jouët Grand Brut with Juliette Peach and lemon; The GOAT, a crowd-pleasing Fernet and house cola cordial serve; Golazo, a spirited blend of Milagro Blanco, Del Maguey Vida Clásico, fire bitters, guava, and lime; and Captain America, a bold combination of Jefferson's Reserve Bourbon, Michter's Rye, house amaretto, Merlot, and Luxardo cherry. For those seeking a zero-proof option, the Hakimimule with Aplos Ease and Fever-Tree ginger beer and the Samurai with Ritual Zero Proof Gin, yuzu, and lychee offer equally considered, non-alcoholic alternatives.
With its layered design, globally inspired menu, and lively atmosphere, The Penalty Box offers a fresh way to experience football—bringing together great hospitality and the shared ritual of the game in a setting that feels distinctly Los Angeles.
