Four Seasons Resort and Residences Los Cabos at Costa Palmas Brings the Riviera Lifestyle to Mexico This Summer

From a new luxury beach club experience to sailing school and an adults-only summer camp, the East Cape of Baja is summer’s “it” destination

Costa Palmas, Los Cabos, Mexico

Four Seasons Resort and Residences Los Cabos at Costa Palmas, the renowned luxury resort overlooking the Sea of Cortez in the distinguished community of Costa Palmas, is bringing the quintessential Riviera summer experience to the East Cape of Los Cabos. The Resort will soon offer guests a chic new day club beach experience created in collaboration with Michelin-star Chef Ludo Lefebvre; a summer camp designed for adults only; and the debut of the Costa Palmas Sailing School.

Often compared to popular yachting destinations along France and Italy’s Riviera, the exclusive Resort community of Costa Palmas is home to the first and only Four Seasons private marina, and the largest port of call for superyachts in the area.

Guests have easy access to the full-service marina from awe-inspiring excursions at UNESCO Marine Site Cabo Pulmo for some of the best snorkelling or diving in the world, plus sport fishing, sunset sails and more. Daily water taxi service transports guests to the vibrant Marina Village, just five minutes away, which features Mozza Baja at Costa Palmas by James Beard Foundation Award winner, author, and restauranteur Nancy Silverton; Chiki, the East Cape’s first nightclub and lounge and designed by Martin Brudnizki; and Casena, a locally-inspired cafe and boutique offering a hand-selected collection of home goods, artisanal goods and pantry staples, as well as coffee roasted by Coffee Lab Baja. Within the Resort, guests may enjoy eight additional drinking and dining experiences including world-renowned Mediterranean restaurant estiatorio Milos; farm-to-table al fresco dining amid a lemon grove at Limon; Baja-style brasserie Casa de Brasa; and cevicheria and sushi bar El Puesto.

This summer, the award-winning Resort will reveal an array of luxury concepts that offer guests a taste of the Riviera, Baja-style, in celebration of one of the best seasons on the East Cape of Los Cabos.

Chef Ludo Lefebvre Brings Beloved Take on French Cuisine to the East Cape

Much like the beloved day clubs that come alive over the summer months along the European Riviera, Delphine is Costa Palmas’ new day club created in collaboration with Michelin-star Chef Ludo Lefebvre. Set to open on May 31, 2024, the elevated open-air club will feature daily entertainment, a lively bar, sandy lounging areas, and attentive service, delivering a welcoming yet elevated beach atmosphere with scenery of crystal-clear waters for Resort guests and Costa Palmas members. Open Friday through Sunday from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm, Delphine combines seaside energy with the natural beauty of the East Cape and Sea of Cortez, creating an atmosphere that seamlessly integrates with Costa Palmas' laid-back luxury setting.

Curated by Los Angeles-based Chef Ludo, Delphine’s culinary offering pairs Niçoise cuisine with Baja’s plentiful fresh produce. Ludo’s culinary creations are guided by the seasons with beloved spring and summer signature dishes such as a citrus-forward chopped chicory salad with walnut pesto, Grilled Baja Shrimp flambéed with pastis, and classic Steak Frites with fresh herb butter, both expertly prepared on the wood-burning grill. As the afternoon sun starts its descent, the chic bar, infused with modern Baja appeal and colourful accents, comes to life with mixologists offering handcrafted cocktails, premium spirits, and a robust wine and champagne list.

Adult Summer Camp: Camp Verano

Inspired by the unadulterated joy, freedom and fun synonymous with summer camp for children and the East Cape’s history of thrill-seeking and exploration, Camp Verano combines exhilarating adventure with meaningful physical activity and blissful relaxation in a refined setting for a soul-salving getaway designed for the mind, body and spirit.

Camp Verano’s itinerary harnesses the many gifts of nature that surround Costa Palmas and includes a day trip to dive or snorkel Cabo Pulmo, which famed oceanographer Jacques Cousteau called “the aquarium of the world,” hiking to a stunning vista for an above-the-clouds HIIT class, off-roading through desert dunes, and swimming in a secret waterfall, in addition to a private beachfront dinner and the Oasis Signature Massage, a healing treatment that uses an Indigenous technique that combines energetic stones and local herbs that create a sense of inner stillness and equilibrium from head to toe.

Campers with children ages four and up may take advantage of daily child care at Kids For All Seasons, a kids club with programming seven days per week. Private child care is also available seven days a week, 24-hours per day.

Camp Verano is available every Monday through Saturday from Memorial Day through Labor Day. For more information and to book, email res.loscabos@fourseasons.com.

Costa Palmas Sailing School

This summer, the Costa Palmas Yacht Club will launch a junior sailing school for children ages 8-16. Available to Resort guests and residents of Costa Palmas, the Sailing School offers group and private classes, as well as clinics, for all levels of experience.

Departing directly from the beach, kids will learn how to sail the RS Tera, a sailboat used for entry level sailing to international competition, alongside sailing instructor Paula Velasquez, who sailed with the national team in Colombia.

Introductory classes offer a strong foundation in sailing terminology and principles, in addition to learning about the various parts of the boat. Intermediate classes include a student skill assessment and further education on wind prediction and trim adjustments, rigging, roll tacking, gybing and use of a centreboard. Advanced classes further expand overall education and teach racing methods and tactics.

For more information or to book a sailing class email concierge.loscabos@fourseasons.com.

“Our setting on the East Cape has all the elements of the most sought-after yachting destinations along the Riviera, minus the swarming crowds,” says Borja Manchado, General Manager, Four Seasons Resort and Residences Los Cabos at Costa Palmas. “We are thrilled to continue offering our guests and homeowners ultra-luxury experiences that allow the special nature of this region to shine.”
