Spring Arrives at ISA with a Celebration of Sakura Cherry Blossom at Four Seasons Hotel Madrid

  • On the first floor of Four Seasons Hotel Madrid, ISA Restaurant & Cocktail Bar will be celebrating Sakura season with a cherry blossom-inspired menu and signature cocktails from April 1 to 13, 2025
  • The celebration will also include a number of special activities and events, such as a special edition of its iconic Funky Tuesdays with live origami demonstrations and an ISA & Friends session in partnership with the Don Panko restaurant

With the arrival of spring, ISA Restaurant & Cocktail Bar (the benchmark in Asian gastronomy and signature cocktails on the first floor of Four Seasons Hotel Madrid) has decided to celebrate the ephemeral beauty of cherry trees in blossom during the first two weeks of April by taking inspiration from this phenomenon to design a one-of-a-kind menu and events based around the essence of sakura season.

These seasonal activities will begin on April 1, 2025 with a very special Funky Tuesday in partnership with EMOZ (the Educational Museum of Origami in Zaragoza), the first museum of origami in Spain and Europe. Over the course of the evening, masters of artistic paper folding will surprise diners with live demonstrations culminating in the creation of unique pieces of art at each table while sharing their own personal understanding of origami, the most world-famous of all paper folding techniques.

ISA will also welcome David de la Torre, chef at the Don Panko Japanese Katsu House, on April 3 and 10, 2025  for another edition of ISA & Friends, the innovative series of chef duo events offering culinary exchanges between big names from Asian cuisine and the gastronomy scene in Madrid. These intimate experiences in the Himiko space for a limited number of diners offer culinary creations prepared in partnership by the two teams based around a carefully designed pairing that elevates each dish.

Besides these activities, ISA will be offering its Sakura Harmony menu throughout Sakura season. This menu begins with an oyster accompanied by a cherry vinaigrette followed by salmon tartare, tuna tataki and seabass usuzukuri. Next up come a series of pink baos in visual homage to cherry blossom, a teriyaki beef tenderloin and, finally, a special dessert designed exclusively for the occasion.

It will be possible to book this menu via the “Experiences” section of OpenTable or in-person at the restaurant. A special menu of signature cocktails inspired by the philosophy behind this floral celebration will also be available for a limited time only to accompany these delicious dishes.
