The purpose of this very special breakfast was to strengthen ties between the Chinese community and the city of Madrid, as well as to welcome the Chinese tourists who visit the Spanish capital.

The event gathered important members and associations of the Chinese community living in Madrid, as well as officials from institutional and cultural organisations. Among those attending the breakfast was Alejandro Bernabé, Regional Vice-President and General Manager of Four Seasons Hotel Madrid, who highlighted the importance of events like this one to strengthen the connection between cultures; Héctor Coronel, Tourism Director at Madrid City Council; Borja Fanjul, a Councillor at Madrid City Council; and Mr. Yao Jing, the Chinese Ambassador to Spain, who spoke a few words of gratitude for the hospitality provided.

The Royal Suite breakfast benefited from an atmosphere full of elegance and tradition in which attendees were able to enjoy a selection of sweets inspired by Chinese tradition and other local delicacies, such as Spanish ham and churros with chocolate. Guests shared experiences in this luxury environment while the commitment from the city of Madrid to the Chinese community was strengthened.

“This event symbolises our ongoing wish to strengthen ties with the Chinese community in Madrid and offer them a space in which to celebrate their traditions while also welcoming the Chinese tourists who choose our city as their destination,” said Alejandro Bernabé, Regional Vice-President and General Manager of Four Seasons Hotel Madrid.
