As part of the partnership between Maison Ruinart and the extremely talented artist Lélia Demoisy, Four Seasons Hotel Madrid announces the launch of a sustainable tapa that will be available for a limited time only at its gastronomy space in the hotel lobby, El Patio. The ARCO Exhibition and Partnership with Four Seasons Hotel Madrid: A Harmonious Commitment to Sustainability and Art
ARCO Madrid will become the epicentre of contemporary art from March 5 to 9, 2025 and Four Seasons Hotel Madrid will extend this experience into the hotel lobby for the entire month of March, aligning itself with the commitment from Ruinart to promote sustainability, art and nature. With that in mind, the partnership with El Patio will include the sustainable Terramar tapa, a pairing that combines one sustainable Special de Claire oyster with a glass of Ruinart Brut champagne. Available for EUR 39 per person between 12:00 noon and 11:00 pm, this pairing alludes to the Retour à la Terre sculpture by Lélia, which will be on display in the lobby from March 3 to 31, 2025. “Terra” is represented through the piece by the artist and “Mar” is embodied through the sustainable oysters from the ponds (claires) in Marennes-Oléron, a region of France famous for oysters of exceptional flavour. With this tapa, Four Seasons Hotel Madrid invites guests to enjoy a unique experience while contemplating the art by Lélia Demoisy.
Known for her innovative and poetic approach to the connection between art and the environment, this artist forms part of the Conversations with Nature project by Maison Ruinart. During the course of ARCO Madrid 2025, the artist will be showing four pieces in the champagne house’s VIP lounge and another two pieces in venues away from the art show itself; one of them, entitled Retour à la Terre (Return to the Earth), in the lobby of Four Seasons Hotel Madrid from March 3 to 31, 2025. This sculpture, which reinforces the hotel’s ties to contemporary art, will be the centrepiece of a partnership that seeks to connect visitors to the beauty of nature through art and gastronomy.
This project at Four Seasons Hotel Madrid in partnership with Ruinart underlines the commitment they both share to art and sustainability. With this tapa, the two organisations have strengthened their vision of a more sustainable future by inviting guests to form part of an experiences that not only stimulates the senses but also fosters greater awareness about the importance of looking after our environment.
As part of its art manifesto, Maison Ruinart is reaffirming its passion for art and its commitment to nature. The Maison firmly believes in the transformative power of art, not only as a form of aesthetic expression but also as a bridge connecting people to nature and culture. This manifesto highlights the role of art in a globalised world in which humans, flora, fauna and technology coexist in a constant and enriching dialogue. The Conversations with Nature project is an extension of that approach, in which Ruinart works with such artists as Lélia Demoisy to encourage a reconnection with nature through artistic creation, thereby strengthening the idea that every valuable moment should be celebrated with Ruinart.
