As the summer draws to a close, Four Seasons Hotel Megève invites guests to make the most of the autumn season in an idyllic alpine spot. Open until November 6, 2023, the Hotel offers the perfect setting to savour autumn’s slower pace of life in a changing landscape of vibrant yellows, reds and oranges.

Engaging Activities

This autumn, guests can make the most of Megève’s striking natural setting, with several activities designed for both children and adults.

In collaboration with Les Petits Trappeurs, Four Seasons Hotel Megève has created a wonderfully immersive experience for little ones to make the most of the surrounding environment. Young guests can reconnect with nature on a six-day course designed to awaken their inquisitive minds with hands-on activities. Children will be supervised by activity coordinators, who will accompany them to explore the surrounding woodlands in the company of friendly donkeys. Over the course of the day, children will build huts using sticks and leaves, and splash around in the crystal-clear waters of mountain streams. Every morning, a representative from the Hotel’s Guest Services will accompany little ones to the activity site. At the end of the day, children will meet up with their parents to share exciting tales of the day’s adventures.  Available from October 22 to November 3, 2023. Open to guests aged 4 to 13.

At the Hotel, the Kids’ Club welcomes children aged 4 to 12 to a magical world with edutainment activities supervised by qualified activity leaders. The nearby garden of the Hotel is home to a delightful playground that will keep both younger and older children entertained. Whether gliding down the tree house slide, coming up close with chickens and ponies at the petting farm, playing table tennis, or simply sitting back to unwind on one of the deckchairs, there's something for everyone.

In autumn, the natural world enthrals with its comforting embrace, revealing the full extent of nature’s riches before the arrival of winter, with mushrooms and other gourmet delights hidden among leaf litter. Accompanied by an experienced local forager, guests can reconnect with nature on a mushroom-picking experience, returning to the Hotel to enjoy a convivial cooking class with the chef, preparing dishes with their freshly picked bounty. This wonderful foraging experience brings together the finest aspects of nature and culinary exploration, resulting in a memorable gastronomic experience.

A Spine-Tingling Halloween Experience

To celebrate Halloween, the garden of Four Seasons Hotel Megève will be adorned with spooky decorations, with carved out pumpkins, flickering lanterns and spider webs creating an eerie feel. There will be an exciting program of events, including fancy dress workshops, an open-air sweetie hunt and pumpkin carving. Older children will be able to get together in the Hotel’s Teen Zone to watch films on a big screen or play video games.

Autumn Well-Being

Immersed in a glorious autumnal landscape, the Spa is a veritable haven of peace to switch off and recharge in preparation for the long winter ahead. To celebrate the autumn season, Spa Director Charlotte Ginolin has added tantalising autumnal scents to her signature treatments.

Known for its invigorating, moisturising properties, the A Stroll Through Megève signature treatment includes a body scrub with spiced pumpkin and mountain honey, followed by a body treatment with soothing caramel, renowned for its moisturising properties. Designed to stimulate smell and taste, this sensory experience ends with a tasting of creamy caramel bites.

Guests wanting to unwind in privacy and tranquillity can do so in the comfort of their room with an Autumn Comfort bath kit. On request, Spa therapists can deliver a caddy tray with a selection of natural bath products for guests to pour into the bathtub, promising a relaxing, spa-like experience.

Autumnal Culinary Delights

At Kaito Restaurant, the cuisine skilfully combines Japanese culinary art with flavoursome mountain produce and subtle Latin American influences. The chef has created autumnal dishes that burst with colour and flavour, such as his signature Torio langoustines that guests can savour on the restaurant’s panoramic terrace. At Bar Edmond, guests can enjoy dishes inspired by the vibrant flavours of Indian summer, accompanied by cocktails offering rich, autumnal flavours created by head sommelier Samy Sbiti. This gastronomic journey makes the most of the finest ingredients of the season to create an enticing culinary experience that promises to leave lasting memories.
