Four Seasons Hotel Minneapolis Introduces Exclusive Purple Rain World Stage Premiere Package

Four Seasons Hotel Minneapolis is unveiling a new experience for guests to extend the magic of the pre-Broadway world premiere of Purple Rain, the musical version of Prince's 1984 film and album, with the World Stage Premiere Package. 

The stage adaptation of Prince's Purple Rain debuts on Thursday, October 16, 2025, and will run through Sunday, November 16, 2025, at the historic State Theatre in downtown Minneapolis. Coinciding with the show’s premiere, the Purple Rain World Stage Premiere Package at Four Seasons Hotel Minneapolis will be available from October 15 to November 15. The package includes access to the VIP lounge at the show, transportation to the show via the hotel’s house car or rideshare service, overnight valet parking for one car, in-room welcome amenities featuring Prince and Purple Rain: 40 Years by Andrea Swensson, and an edible tribute to the show and Prince’s legacy. 

In addition to the exclusive package, Mara, the hotel’s Mediterranean-inspired restaurant by Chef and Restaurateur Gavin Kaysen, will feature a pre-theatre prix-fixe menu, specialized brunch offerings, and a signature cocktail. 

The pre-theatre prix-fixe menu, created by Mara’s Chef de Cuisine Thony Yang, will be priced at USD 65 per person and highlight offerings that deliver the Mara dining experience while ensuring guests are ready to leave within an hour to enjoy their evening show. The menu includes a glass of prosecco, hummus, a choice of Wild Acres Chicken or Branzino a la Plancha, and a selection of Crème Caramel or Tiramisu. 

The specialized Mara brunch will feature a selection of vibrant dishes full of robust flavours, with each shining in various shades of purple. The brunch menu will be offered every Sunday beginning on Sunday, October 19 through Sunday, November 16. Both brunch and dinner reservations are available via experiences on OpenTable.

For those looking to toast the debut of the world premiere, a Purple Rain-inspired cocktail will be available at Bar Mara. The cocktail will feature vodka, lime juice, Barolo chinato, and grape juice concentrate.
