Four Seasons Hotel Minneapolis Invites Guests to Embrace Winter at Nordic Village with Three Distinct Nordic-Inspired Dining Experiences

January 5, 2026,
Minneapolis, USA

Four Seasons Hotel Minneapolis invites guests and the local community to embrace the chill and cozy up at Nordic Village, its signature rooftop winter dining experience that transforms the Hotel’s rooftop into a magical Nordic-inspired retreat in the heart of downtown Minneapolis.

Nordic Village Winter Menus

Throughout January and February 2026, Nordic Village will offer three distinct Nordic-inspired dining experiences, allowing guests to enjoy their preferred level of indulgence: Klassisk (classic), Förhöjd (Elevated) and Exklusiv (Exclusive). Created by Executive Chef Martin Morelli, each menu builds upon traditional Nordic flavours, with progressively elevated ingredients and presentations.

The Klassisk menu centres on a generous smörgåsbord featuring Danish seeded rye bread and flatbrød, smoked white fish with trout roe, beet-cured lox, shrimp skagen, and a vibrant beet salad, followed by comforting Nordic mains such as Finnbiff—Norwegian venison stroganoff—and a traditional fiskesuppe with poached Arctic char. The experience concludes with Kvæfjordkake, Norway’s beloved World’s Best Cake.

For those seeking a more expansive experience, the Förhöjd menu introduces additional layers of flavour and ritual, beginning with a devilled egg canapé and expanded smörgåsbord selections including pickled herring salad and Doppi Gryta—a warm venison consommé served for dipping. Enhanced accompaniments such as glazed root vegetables complement the signature mains, offering a richer, more immersive Nordic feast.

At the pinnacle, the Exklusiv menu delivers the most refined interpretation of Nordic Village dining. This experience features elevated ingredients throughout, including duck country pâté with foie gras, Finnbiff finished with winter truffles, and fiskesuppe enriched with sturgeon caviar. Desserts expand beyond Kvæfjordkake to include rosettes and krumkake with gjetost caramel and cranberry coulis, creating a luxurious finale to the evening.

Pricing begins at USD 95 per person for Klassisk, USD 125 per person for Förhöjd and USD 175 per person for Exklusiv. Nordic Village is open for dinner Wednesday through Saturday through February 28, 2026. Reservations and full menu details are available via OpenTable

“We want Nordic Village to feel welcoming to everyone, from the curious to the celebratory,” said Florian Riedel, General Manager of Four Seasons Hotel Minneapolis. “These three menus let guests experience the magic of Nordic cuisine in the way that feels right for them, whether that is a relaxed evening or a more indulgent night out.”

The Lodge at Nordic Village

New this season, guests can also gather at The Lodge, a cozy, cabin-style bar at the centre of Nordic Village. Designed as a relaxed complement to the private cabins, The Lodge offers an à la carte food and beverage menu and a welcoming space to enjoy Nordic-inspired cocktails and bites such as Swedish Meatballs or the Butter Burger in a lively, winter-forward setting.
