Marcus Night Bar at Four Seasons Hotel Montreal Unveils Cocktail Tasting, Guerlain Edition: Six Cocktails Composed Around the Maison’s Signature Accord

From Paris to Montréal, a shared art of the senses. This season, the world of Guerlain Spa at Four Seasons Hotel Montreal finds a new expression at Marcus Night Bar. Created by Head of Mixology Jay Lawson in collaboration with Guerlain Spa, Cocktail Tasting, Guerlain Edition extends the discovery of the House’s fragrance heritage through six miniature cocktails inspired by the Guerlinade, its signature accord. Available from November 5 to December 19, the experience invites guests on a journey from fragrance to flavour.

Jasmine, bergamot, rose, iris, vanilla and tonka guide the tasting, each revealing a distinct facet of the accord that has shaped Guerlain’s creations for generations. House-made infusions and seasonal ingredients lend texture and nuance to each interpretation, with iris expressed as a non-alcoholic creation. A shared respect for nature informs the experience, reflected in Guerlain’s precious raw materials and Lawson’s imaginative use of ingredients. Balancing aroma, texture and flavour, he gives each note its own expression in the glass.

“This collaboration was an opportunity to create an immersive sensory experience inspired by Guerlain’s heritage and French craftsmanship,” says Jay Lawson, Head of Mixology at Marcus. “Perfumery and mixology share a natural connection through the balance and interplay of aromatic notes. We explored that relationship through complementary and contrasting ingredients, creating a dialogue between fragrance and flavour. It felt like a natural evolution of our cocktail tasting experience.”

Set within the intimate surroundings of Marcus Night Bar, the experience brings together Guerlain’s art of perfumery and the thoughtful craftsmanship of Four Seasons. The journey may continue at Guerlain Spa, Québec’s only Forbes Five-Star spa, where guests are invited to further explore the House’s signature rituals, fragrances, beauty collection and skincare in a serene setting devoted to the art of well-being.

Cocktail Tasting, Guerlain Edition is offered Thursday through Saturday, from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm, November 5 through December 19, 2026, at CAD 95 per person, excluding taxes and gratuity. Reservations are available through OpenTable.
