Auro Named Among New Additions to the 2023 Michelin Guide California

Just seven months after its much-anticipated opening, Auro, wine country’s newest fine dining destination from Executive Chef Rogelio Garcia, has been named as one of 19 restaurants added to the coveted 2023 Michelin Guide California.

At Auro, located within Four Seasons Resort Napa Valley, Chef Garcia showcases a seasonally inspired, weekly-changing five-course tasting menu set against striking views of the Calistoga vineyards and the Palisades Mountains by way of floor-to-ceiling glass sliding doors and an outdoor terrace.

In true dedication to spotlighting local and seasonal fare, fall/winter ingredients such as harvest apple, Sonoma baby beets, and kale - which were featured on Auro’s opening menu - are now substituted for items such as Lodi green asparagus, Tenbrink Farms bok choy, and clementines, in celebration of the warmer spring/summer season.

Auro’s home in the charming town of Calistoga in Napa Valley serves as inspiration for Chef Garcia’s rotating menu. Its naturally temperate climate and abundance of nearby purveyors - ranging from local farmers to renowned ranchers such as Triple S Ranch - ensures that guests are afforded a truly elevated farm-to-table experience in every sense of the term. This, plus genuine hospitality led by new General Manager Scott Trace and the entire Auro team, sets the stage for an unparalleled experience in one of the world’s most legendary dining destinations.

The Auro team is honoured to be recognized by the iconic Michelin Guide and looks forward to showcasing seasonal iterations of its summer tasting menu over the coming months. Auro has also recently debuted its Wednesday Wine Dinner Series, a sensory experience with a four-course prix fixe menu accompanied by expert wine pairings from dedicated winery partners in collaboration with Auro’s Sommelier Derek Stevenson. Over the course of the dinner series, guests will enjoy a wide range of vinicultural styles and regions, from distinguished local wineries to global European winemakers. The summer Wednesday Wine Dinner partners include Alpha Omega, Radio-Coteau, Palmaz, and Huneeus Wines’ Quintessa and Flowers.

Auro is open for dinner Thursday through Saturday from 5:00 to 9:00 pm; reservations are available via OpenTable.
