Naviva, A Four Seasons Resort Debuts Regenerative Weekends, A New Expression of Nature-Led Luxury
Nestled on 48 acres (19 hectares) of lush tropical jungle on a private peninsula overlooking the Pacific, and intentionally intimate with only 15 ocean-view tented bungalows, Naviva, A Four Seasons Resort is shaped by nature, where the landscape informs every experience, and time unfolds with intention. Rooted in this philosophy, the resort announces the debut of Regenerative Weekends at Naviva, a new series of immersive retreats featuring a curated selection of hands-on experiences designed to deepen one’s connection to the natural world.
Debuting this May, the series invites guests to move beyond observation into participation by engaging directly with the ecosystems that define Punta Mita. Experiences span beekeeping, ocean exploration, mindful culinary practices, and restorative rituals - each offering a more immersive way to explore the connection between environment, culture, and personal well-being.
“At Naviva, nature is something you move with, learn from, and return to,” says Eduardo Sampere, Resort Manager, Naviva, A Four Seasons Resort. “Regenerative Weekends were created as an invitation to slow down, to observe more closely, and to engage with the environment in a way that feels both personal and lasting. Through time spent on the land and in the water, paired with thoughtful culinary moments and guided exploration, guests will gain a deeper understanding of place - one that stays with them well beyond their stay.”
Each Regenerative Weekend is shaped around a central theme, with guided moments woven throughout the experience. Upcoming weekends include:
Biodiversity and Pollination | May 21-24, 2026
Timed to World Bee Day, the first Regenerative Weekend centres on biodiversity and the essential role of pollinators within the local ecosystem. Guests are invited into a deeper understanding of the land through guided beekeeping and honey harvesting, offering them to connect deeper with one of nature’s most vital processes.
Garden walks led by Naviva’s guides reveal the layered intelligence of native flora, while culinary moments draw directly from the surrounding environment incorporating honey harvested onsite, fresh herbs, and seasonal ingredients. Across the weekend, experiences unfold naturally, from breathwork to sound healing, creating space for reflection and restoration.
Ocean and Habitat Conservation | October 1-4, 2026
In honour of World Habitat Day, the second Regenerative Weekend turns toward the Pacific, exploring the ocean as one of Punta Mita’s most vital living systems. The weekend includes guided freediving sessions with Spearmex, offering a closer look at the underwater habitats along the coast, with snorkelling also available for those who prefer to remain closer to the surface.
Breathwork is incorporated as a grounding practice throughout the weekend, helping guests slow their pace, deepen awareness, and prepare for time in and around the water. The experience continues through ocean-to-table dining, with sustainably sourced seafood from within a 30-mile (48 kilometre) radius, alongside moments of restoration and reflection shaped by the rhythms of the coast.
These Regenerative Weekends are experienced as part of Naviva’s all-encompassing approach, where each element is quietly woven into the natural rhythm of the stay. Meals, guided experiences, and moments of pause are already in place, creating an experience that feels effortless and free of transactions, allowing guests to simply follow their own rhythm as the day unfolds.
With everything considered in advance, there is a sense of ease that creates space for something more meaningful to emerge: a deeper connection to the land, to the present moment, and to oneself.
