Four Seasons Resort Nevis announces the arrival of the New York Times bestselling author, celebrity chef and restaurateur Chef Rocco DiSpirito for a three-night culinary residency from November 26 to 29, 2024.

In collaboration with the Resort’s Executive Chef Andrea Ferrandi and team, Chef Rocco will utilize the island’s bounty to highlight and bring his signature cuisine to life while also finding fusion with the rich Caribbean flavours for which Nevis is known. The curated culinary experience will feature two restaurant takeovers at the Resort’s Mediterranean-inspired EsQuilina restaurant for dinner on Tuesday, November 26 and Friday, November 29, as well as a special cooking demo and lunch on Wednesday, November 27.  In addition to the menus, guests can enjoy Chef Rocco’s expertly crafted cocktails and fun table-side touches of hospitality.

"We are thrilled to welcome Chef Rocco DiSpirito to Four Seasons Resort Nevis this Thanksgiving," says Billy Cueto, General Manager. “His exceptional talent and passion for culinary excellence align perfectly with our commitment to delivering elevated dining experiences for our guests.”

A James Beard Award-winning chef, Rocco DiSpirito began his culinary studies at the Culinary Institute of America and by age 20 was working in the kitchens of legendary chefs around the globe. He was named Food & Wine magazine’s Best New Chef and was the first to appear on Gourmet magazine’s cover as America’s Most Exciting Young Chef. Referred to as America’s original “Rockstar Chef,” Chef Rocco has been featured in a variety of culinary and lifestyle magazines, including People’s Sexiest Man Alive issue.

His three-star restaurant Union Pacific was a culinary landmark in New York City for many years and, most recently, he received two stars from the New York Times as Chef of the critically acclaimed Standard Grill in New York City.

Chef Rocco has also appeared on more than 300 television episodes throughout his career, including his Food Network series Melting Pot, the NBC hit reality series The Restaurant and the A&E series Rocco Gets Real. He is a content partner on Rachael Ray, a frequent guest on Good Morning America and Top Chef and has appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Chelsea Lately, The Late Show with David Letterman, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Jimmy Kimmel Live, The Biggest Loser and was the first chef to compete on the ABC megahit Dancing with the Stars. He is also a Food Network mainstay and can often be seen on Chopped, Guy’s Grocery Games, Beat Bobby Flay and Wildcard Kitchen.

Chef Rocco is the author of fourteen books and has achieved three #1 New York Times bestsellers, including one for his latest cookbook, Everyday Delicious, which offers fast and flavourful recipes to help anyone cook like a chef in 30 minutes(ish) or less, every day of the week.

“I was a young chef at Four Seasons in Boston in 1990 when they opened the Four Seasons property in Nevis. I remember that management selected only the best employees to go open the new property,” says Rocco DiSpirito. “When they came back they talked about how wonderful the new property was and how gorgeous the island was. I am excited to work with Chef Andrea Ferrandi and to finally see it for myself after all these years.”
