The Ocean Club, A Four Seasons Resort, is welcoming back Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten to the island for a special celebratory dinner on February 20, 2025. The dinner will celebrate 25 years of DUNE by Jean-George, which since its 2000 opening, has set the stage for a fine dining experience with an island twist. In addition to the delicious menu of Chef’s global favourites from his worldwide travels, DUNE’s location perched atop a white sand bluff offering a dramatic ocean view, has made it a cherished dining destination for guests and locals alike.
“Twenty-five years—a quarter-century of DUNE—wow! We’re beyond excited to return to the beautiful Bahamas and celebrate this milestone with our incredible team,” says Vongerichten. “From our first service in 2000 to our upcoming anniversary dinner, we’ve loved coming together with guests - many of whom have become family - friends, and our team to share special moments over a great meal. The DUNE team at The Ocean Club holds a special place in my heart, having been part of my professional journey for 25 years now. The friendships we’ve built with our purveyors and partners, the talent we’ve nurtured and grown over the years, the ingredients we’ve explored and shared with our guests … it’s all been a labour of love. We’ve built such a strong community and we’re deeply humbled by the unwavering support from everyone over the years. Here’s to 25 more years to come!”
Guests are in for a delightful evening, as Jean-Georges will offer a tantalizing upscale menu using the freshest ingredients. This event will surely be a memorable experience, as guests will have the opportunity to interact with Jean-Georges and experience his renowned cuisine while toasting to 25 years of DUNE.

The event on February 20 will begin with a cocktail hour at 6:00 pm followed by dinner at 7:00 pm, and an opportunity to mingle with Vongerichten. The dinner will include entrees and side dishes served family-style, a selection of desserts, and beverages including wine, beer and signature cocktails. Weather permitting, the event will take place on the bluff right outside DUNE, overlooking the ocean.
