Celebrate the Season with New Winter Wonderland Afternoon Tea, Indulgent Holiday Desserts at Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort

The palms are decked, and the halls are merry, and this holiday season Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort announces an afternoon tea, plus several other decadent indulgences perfect to celebrate the magic of the season.

Holiday Tea

The Winter Wonderland Afternoon Tea will be offered at The Lobby Bar, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, beginning December 1 through 24, 2023, with seating options at 2:00 pm, 2:30 pm, 3:00 pm, and 3:30 pm.  A beautiful celebration, the tea will include musical entertainment and children’s crafts. Guests will enjoy a delightful hot chocolate and candy station, along with a scrumptious selection of traditional tea sandwiches such as Smoked Turkey, Fig Jam and Brie & Apple on freshly baked multigrain bread, as well as Egg Salad on brioche, Smoked Salmon mousse pastry with Hackleback caviar, and Hickory Chicken and Pimento Cheese Cheddar biscuits. A selection of holiday desserts will be offered, including a hazelnut cremino, pistachio dome, raspberry macaron, mango mini tarts, and currant scones.

Younger guests will delight in a festive tea party featuring “Santa's Favorite Sandwiches,” including a ham and cheddar, and an array of freshly baked pastries and scones inspired by none other than Mrs. Claus herself. Children’s desserts include cupcakes, Rice Krispie treats and chocolate mousse cups.

Delicious tea presentations include Jasmine Pearls, Silver Needles, Earl Gray Lavender, Cinnamon Plum, Valerian Dream, Chocolate Chai, and traditional black tea. A cocktail menu infused with teas is also available, as is a list of Champagnes for those who prefer specialty bubbles.

Four Seasons Resort Orlando has partnered with Nemours Children’s Hospital to collect gift donations for the infants, children and teens who are in treatment at the Hospital. Guests attending the tea are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped children’s toy for donation. The Resort team will hand-deliver all gifts to Nemours the week of December 17, 2023.

Holiday Sweets

Delight in seasonal gelato flavours at Lickety Split, including Butterscotch, Gingerbread, Green Mint, Hot Cocoa with Marshmallow, and Apple Pie. Starting December 16, 2023, Lickety Split will feature specialty pastry items, including Peppermint Chocolate Pretzels, Hazelnut Christmas Cookies, Burnt Peanut Meringue, Hot Chocolate Bombs, Christmas Macarons and Yule Logs, Santa Hat Mousse, and Holiday Chocolate-Dipped Strawberries.

For the ultimate splurge, experience the new Royal Sweet sundae at The Lobby Bar. Inspired by the Resort’s premier room category, the Royal Suite, this dessert is an over-the-top shareable treat with nine scoops of gelato - nine delicious scoops to represent the Royal Suite’s ability to expand up to a nine-bedroom residence. The gelato flavours of Butterscotch, Gingerbread, Mint, and Hot Chocolate with Marshmallows are topped with housemade whipped cream, Christmas cookies including mini-gingerbread men, hot fudge and more, with a finishing touch of gold-dipped wafer cookies. This special menu item, USD 28, is available at The Lobby Bar from 5:00 to 11:00 pm, November 27, 2023 through January 1, 2024.

Gingerbread House

While at the Resort, be sure to take a photo by Executive Pastry Chef Rabii Saber’s custom designed gingerbread house, stationed in the lobby. The gingerbread house will be on display beginning December 1, 2023.
