Little Hoteliers: Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Otemachi Rolls Out Experiential Learning Program for Kids

Starting October 5, 2022, young guests at Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Otemachi can participate in an exciting new experiential learning program. Combining career education with tons of fun, Four Seasons Kids Academy invites children ages 6 to 12 to explore different types of hotel jobs and go behind the scenes in an interactive and enjoyable way.

As they learn about various areas of hospitality, from Food and Beverage to Housekeeping, kids will have the chance to see both the hard work and rewards of working in a hotel. Through the program, children will also learn skills like team work, independence and communication.

As part of the Hotel’s broader child-friendly approach, Four Seasons Kids Academy introduces three new activities, available only for guests staying at the Hotel.

Rent A Uniform. Chef, Door Attendant or Housekeeper? Kids can wear their favourite uniform and take photographs with the Hotel staff for a memorable keepsake of their stay; a great opportunity to feel like part of the Four Seasons team.

Job Discovery. Learn about a hotel job, answer the quiz questions, and get the job card stampe.! Kids who complete all three job cards will receive a surprise gift for their family. Designed for young guests to learn about the different roles in a hotel, this activity reveals both the fun and challenging side of hospitality careers.

Real-World Learning. This immersive experience invites kids to learn on the job, guided by friendly staff. Young guests can wear their favourite uniform, learn their new duties, and join the Four Seasons team at work. Young Door Attendants welcome guests at the entrance and escort them to the elevator, while mini Housekeepers help to prepare the guest room by making the bed.

• 30 minutes per session, maximum 2 kids per session

Four Seasons Kids Academy is available for guests who have made a reservation directly at the Hotel. Kids can enjoy one type of uniform, job card and learning experience per stay. A Tent Full of Magic. Guest ages 3-5 will receive an indoor tent and an array of toys. Let the little ones camp out in style and watch as they create a fantasyland of their own, filled with characters and stories from their imagination. Here is playtime at its best – a way to keep busy while also nurturing creativity.

Free Kids Dining. Enjoy complimentary kid-friendly menus for children ages 6 and under at PIGNETO and THE LOUNGE, and 50 percent off à la carte menus for children ages 7 to 12. The Hotel’s talented chefs take pride in creating nutritious yet tasty meals for young guests.

Kids Amenities. The Hotel provides complimentary amenities from Le Petit Prince for children up to the age of 4. For infants under 12 months, parents may request items such as a baby bathtub, blanket and high chair. For the children’s comfort, pajamas are available in three sizes and bathrobes in two sizes.

Safety for Little Ones. With children’s wellbeing being paramount at Four Seasons, families with infants and toddlers can breathe easy. Upon request, the housekeeping team can equip the room with safety amenities such as a bed rail guard and bottle sterilizer. A baby crib, extra bed or sofa bed may also be arranged upon request at no extra charge. In addition, children under age 18 can stay at no extra charge in an adult’s room. Connecting rooms are available for multi-generational families or two families travelling together.
