VIRTÙ at Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Otemachi Debuts at #20 on Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2023 List

A favourite among cocktail and spirit connoisseurs since its opening, VIRTÙ at Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Otemachi has made its impressive debut on Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2023 list. The Paris-meets-Tokyo bar has achieved a rank of #20 on the prestigious list, which was revealed at an awards ceremony in Hong Kong on July 18, 2023. VIRTÙ also won the Disaronno Highest New Entry Award.  

Celebrating VIRTÙ’s entry among the region’s most exciting drinking destinations, Head Bartender Keith Motsi expresses the team’s delight: “We’re honoured to be recognised alongside such exceptional bars and among our talented peers. This accomplishment reflects our team’s dedication towards creating an extraordinary drinking experience. We’re thankful to those who voted for us, and deemed us worthy to be among such great venues. Keith, who is also the Head of Beverage Operations at the Hotel, took home the Altos Bartenders’ Bartender Award in 2022, the only peer-voted award by Asia’s 50 Best Bars.

Led by the trifecta of Head Bartender Keith Motsi, Assistant Bar Manager McHyala Killoran, and Master of Hospitality Senior Bartender Graham Kimura, VIRTÙ’s talented team employs modern Japanese ingredients and methods, paired up with classic French flavours and drinking rituals. With a menu woven around the seven virtues of VIRTÙ, drawn from Japanese tales and French folklore, this stylish drinkery has a cocktail (and a story!) up its sleeve for every occasion.
