Dressed in ruby red, powder pink and gleaming gold, the new Afternoon Tea is the very picture of festivity. The crimson curves of the tables draw attention to the delicately executed desserts, adorned with classic Christmas touches. From snowflakes to ornaments, playful decorations set the stage for celebration.

The savoury selection draws its inspiration from French festive favourites. Prized seasonal ingredients like truffle and foie gras add a sumptuous flair to light bites, introducing a sense of Parisian joie de vivre in the heart of Tokyo.

Guests can share this picturesque spread in the airy elegance of THE LOUNGE, where expansive windows bring in winter sunshine and unfettered views of the Imperial Palace Gardens. Located on the 39th floor, this sky-high spot offers an ideal venue for holiday feastings with friends, family or that special someone.

Festive Afternoon Tea Highlights

Savour the sweetness of the season with a repertoire of original desserts by Four Seasons. The Noel Cheer Parfait offers an enchanting medley of tastes and textures, including refreshing Earl Grey tea, silky chocolate mousse, and strawberry panna cotta with rosemary.

The Christmas Ornament is a sight to behold, intricately crafted with vacherin, hazelnut praline, orange marmalade and white chocolate ganache — all topped with the glitter of silver foil tinsel and white chocolate pearls. The bitterness of orange pairs perfectly with the sweetness of chocolate, offering an intriguing contrast in every bite.

Another highlight is the Snow Bloom Tart, featuring an almond tart with a crunchy caramelized apple at the centre, surrounded by petals of smooth caramel chocolate. Warm, fragrant and embellished with edible snowflakes, this sweet treat is straight out of a storybook.

Guests will find an equally captivating array of savouries. Discover the full-bodied flavours of the Poinsettia Pie, composed of pâté wrapped in puff pastry — a holiday staple in France. Made of pork, chicken, duck and beef, the succulent pâté combines with truffle shavings to fill the palate with a rich indulgence. Marinated turnip and radish are placed on top for a poinsettia-like flair.

The Starlight Tree Tart is a multi-layered creation of gingerbread and cream cheese. Topped with foie gras, the tree-shaped tart conjures a cozy festive feel with semi-dried apples and winter spices like cinnamon and cardamom.

Capturing the romance of the holidays, the Wonderland Sandwich expresses the magic of freshly fallen snow on a crimson carpet.
