As Tokyo gears up for year-end celebrations, the pastry kitchen at Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Otemachi is abuzz with excitement. With recipes perfected down to the last detail, The Lounge is now accepting reservations for its Christmas Cake and Stollen, available only during the holiday season.

Making its debut this year is Snow Crystal, a show-stopping cake inspired by winter’s pristine beauty, alongside the return of the all-time favourite Christmas Stollen, now available in three flavours. Crafted to spark joy and elevate holiday gatherings, the hotly anticipated items will be available for pickup from December 1 to 25, 2025.

As Christmas draws close, the Hotel’s pop-up Christmas Pastry Shop will offer a selection of limited-time treats, perfect as stocking stuffers or for moments of festive indulgence. Doors open on Friday, December 19, 2025 until December 23, 2025.

Snow Crystal Cake

The star of this year’s Christmas collection, the Snow Crystal cake is born from the artful vision of Michele Abbatemarco, Pastry Chef at Michelin-starred est and winner of the Best Pastry Chef Award by Gault & Millau 2024. Inspired by traditional European Christmas cakes, this masterpiece evokes wintry charm with its sculpted crystal-like form, crowned with edible snow.

Crafted with white chocolate and Fraises des Bois strawberries, each bite unfurls a delicately evolving taste journey, laced with hints of Christmas spices, berries and the gentle crunch of pistachio. Even when sliced into individual portions, the cake maintains its elegant shape, revealing festive layers of pink, red and white. Designed to dazzle, Snow Crystal is the perfect centrepiece for celebrations large and small.

Christmas Stollen

Heralding the arrival of Christmas, the Four Seasons Stollen makes a flavour-packed comeback, its buttery goodness imbued with pistachios, almonds, raisins, figs, cranberries and more, all finished with a sprinkle of Wasanbon sugar.

The true magic of this German sweetbread unfolds with time, as dough, fruits and spices blend into a deeper harmony of flavour. Enjoy it slowly and savour the countdown to Christmas, one slice at a time. Available in three flavours: Classic, Chocolate and Matcha.

Christmas Pastry Shop

The Hotel’s pop-up pastry shop makes its magical appearance just before Christmas, offering exquisite yuletide-themed sweets — perfect for year-end treats, joyful gifts or sampling Four Seasons artistry.

  • Saint Honoré. Rich, nutty and bittersweet, the Saint Honoré packs an indulgent punch with layers of hazelnut cream and praline topped with coffee-flavoured Chantilly and flaky, tender choux puffs. JPY 1,500
  • Stollen Cube. Made for bite-sized indulgence, these mini stollens come dressed in classic Christmas ribbons, perfect for displaying as decorative accents until their flavours fully mature. JPY 2,600 (2 pieces)
  • Canelé. The traditional canelé shines brighter with the Four Seasons touch. Each crisp bite reveals a tender, chewy interior, releasing the rich, lingering aroma of premium Guatemalan rum. JPY 2,300
