New Pastry Experiences for Kids at Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia

The Hotel’s culinary team debuts a pastry decorating activity for children

Debuting as part of a new culinary series for kids, Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia has launched a pastry decorating activity, available to all Hotel guests ages five and up. Young hotel guests and aspiring bakers will enjoy this seasonally-inspired experience, selecting from decorating cookies, a personal cake, or cupcakes. Each pastry decorator will receive a complimentary embroidered apron and a chef hat, and families are welcome to enjoy complimentary hot chocolate or lemonade, with an option to upgrade with lunch through the Hotel’s In-Room Dining menu.

“It’s incredibly rewarding to see our young guests eager to explore the world of pastry,” says Executive Pastry Chef Danielle Seipp. “We view this as a fun activity that exposes kids to the world of pastry art, allowing their creativity to shine and make memorable moments with their families.”

Families will meet for the activity in Jean-Georges Philadelphia. Each pastry decorator has the choice to select from eight sugar cookies, one personal six-inch cake, or a half dozen cupcakes. Guests can anticipate vanilla sugar cookies with coloured royal icing, vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream, and chocolate and vanilla assorted cupcakes with vanilla buttercream colours. Throughout the year different ingredients and flavours may be introduced to celebrate holidays and special occasions.
