Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia announce a spectacular upcoming ballroom redesign and expansion, scheduled to be completed in early October 2025. Designed by 1508 London, the renovation promises to blend the Hotel’s modern and sophisticated architecture with timeless details, reaffirming its position as a premier destination for luxury events, especially large-scale celebrations, and business gatherings.

The newly reimagined ballroom, located on the 5th floor with views of the city, will feature an exquisite fusion of classic architectural grandeur and contemporary design elements, adding a significant amount of warmth and texture to the space. A grand new entrance sets the stage for the space, with a striking wood door adorned with decorative hardware - a perfect marriage of timeless materials and cutting-edge design, allowing the details of the space to be personalized to each event.

Inside, the renovation introduces refined architectural details such as custom-designed partitions crafted from wood and metallic accents, seamlessly integrating with the building’s existing columns. These partitions offer both functional separation and an elegant connection to the surrounding space, allowing for versatility and a variety of event configurations while maintaining the ballroom’s architectural integrity.

A standout feature of the new ballroom is the newly designed plaster ceiling, which replaces the former gold leaf finish, creating a more refined and understated elegance. The crowning jewel of the space is a stunning seeded-glass chandelier that will serve as a breathtaking centrepiece, filling the room with soft, natural light. Custom carpeting further enhances the room, providing a luxurious foundation for the ballroom’s elegant design, featuring floor-to-ceiling windows allowing for natural daylight throughout the year.

The ballroom’s nearly 9,000 square feet (840 square metres) will allow for a wide range of events, with seated dinner capacity of 400 guests and a cocktail-style reception capacity of 600, making it an ideal venue for grand weddings, galas, corporate events, and social gatherings. With this new layout and design, the space can comfortably accommodate large groups while offering the flexibility to adjust the setup to meet the unique needs of each event.

In addition to the transformation of the ballroom itself, the pre-function areas on Levels 2 and 5 will be equally enhanced. These spaces will offer new seating arrangements and an inviting atmosphere for guests to relax and socialize before events. Custom decorative screens, artwork, and plush fabrics will infuse warmth and comfort, ensuring a welcoming environment for intimate pre-event moments.
