MIRU Returns: Seasonal Japanese Rooftop Dining at Four Seasons Hotel Prague with a New Degustation Menu and Breathtaking Iconic Views
A secluded rooftop garden. Just four tables. Sweeping views of Prague Castle, Charles Bridge, and the Vltava River. MIRU, the seasonal rooftop restaurant at Four Seasons Hotel Prague, reopens this week, offering an extraordinary dining experience under the open sky.
Meaning “view” in Japanese, MIRU is more than a restaurant – it’s a rare summer ritual designed for those who seek exclusivity, tranquillity, and authenticity. Tucked above the city’s historic centre, the terrace evokes the elegance of a Japanese garden, providing a serene escape for an intimate evening of refined gastronomy.
This season’s nine-course tasting menu is the result of a creative collaboration between Toshikazu Kato, Japanese chef at Four Seasons Hotel des Bergues Geneva, and Nicholas Trosien, Executive Chef at Four Seasons Hotel Prague. Their latest menu fuses the precision of Japanese techniques with the bold flavours of Nikkei cuisine.
Guests can look forward to highlights including:
- Crispy rice with spicy tuna and Alaskan king crab
- Sea bass usuzukuri with subtle citrus and heat
- Wagyu tataki with truffle ponzu, chives
- Yuzu miso black cod, ginger, kunafa, jalapeňo miso
- Curated selection of nigiri – truffle tuna, creamy salmon, and seabream yuzu
“This year, we’ve incorporated several surprises and interactive elements into the menu. Each course is technically precise, minimalist, and allows the ingredients to truly shine,” says Executive Chef Nicholas Trosien. “I’m especially proud of our nigiri selection and the desserts, which were a collaborative effort by our entire pastry team.”
