Four Seasons announces the appointment of Pablo Molinari as General Manager of Four Seasons Resort and Residences Puerto Rico, a reimagined Caribbean beachfront luxury resort set to open November 20, 2025. Located on a lush 483-acre (195-hectare) nature reserve along crescent-shaped Bahia Beach, the resort is surrounded by rainforest dense with tropical foliage, walking trails, waterfalls and natural pools.

“I’m honoured to lead the opening of Four Seasons Resort and Residences Puerto Rico,” says Molinari. Since relocating to the island with his family, he has explored beyond the Resort’s footprint, from hiking El Yunque and boating to Culebra and Icacos, to visiting towns such as Naranjito, Juncos, Fajardo, and other towns in the centre of the island. “This isn’t just about luxury,” he continues. “It’s about creating something that reflects Puerto Rico: the warmth, stories, layers of culture and history.”

Molinari is inspired by the island’s vibrant contrasts and cultural richness. “It’s a small island, but its richness is vast,” he reflects. “The culture feels unified, yet every town offers its own rhythm.” Having lived across three countries, two continents, nine cities, and now one island, he feels a sense of home in Puerto Rico, a connection shaped by his own upbringing in Argentina and its Spanish heritage and cultural parallels.

“We want our resort to reflect the heart of Puerto Rico,” he adds. “Not just through service, but through meaningful experiences that honour this incredible place and its people.”

Molinari brings almost 30 years of international hospitality expertise across operational and leadership positions, always with a focus on crafting personalized, culturally immersive guest experiences. A native of Argentina, he began his career in the front office of the Park Hyatt in Buenos Aires, which later became Four Seasons Hotel Buenos Aires in 2001. Throughout the years, Molinari held various leadership roles within the industry focusing on the US and Canada. After fourteen years outside of the brand, Molinari returned to Four Seasons in 2021 as the Hotel Manager of the acclaimed Four Seasons Hotel New York Downtown.

“With Pablo’s extensive global experience and deep understanding of Four Seasons culture, he is the ideal leader to launch our newest Caribbean destination,” says Antoine Chahwan, President, Hotel Operations – Americas, Four Seasons. “His commitment to delivering truly personalized guest experiences will bring the spirit of the Resort and Puerto Rico to life from the moment we open our doors.”

Nestled along a two-mile (3.2-kilometre) stretch of beach on Puerto Rico’s northeastern shore, Four Seasons Resort and Residences Puerto Rico will offer a luxury lifestyle destination in the Caribbean to guests and residents. The property will feature a Silver Signature Sanctuary by Audubon International, an 18-hole golf course designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr., racquet centre, bird sanctuary, boathouse recreation centre, diverse dining options and much more.
