Chef Rosado’s return to Puerto Rico marks both a professional milestone and a deeply personal homecoming. Having previously contributed to some of the island’s most acclaimed culinary destinations, his career has taken him through renowned kitchens across the island and the mainland United States, including several Five-Star, Five-Diamond properties.

At Four Seasons Resort and Residences Puerto Rico, Chef Rosado oversees all culinary operations across the resort, crafting distinctive dining experiences that speak to a sense of place while appealing to the global traveller.

“Coming back to Puerto Rico, and specifically to Bahía Beach, means everything to me,” Rosado says. “My goal is to honour where I come from, highlight the products of the island and create experiences that feel elevated but personal.”

Inspired by his grandparents’ kitchen, Chef Rosado’s culinary philosophy balances nostalgia with precision. His cuisine showcases local seafood, seasonal produce and artisanal ingredients, prepared with classic techniques and modern elements such as wood‑fired cooking.

Culinary Path

Rosado has worked alongside chefs including Jean‑Georges, José Andrés, Eric Ripert, Anthony Bourdain, Dominique Crenn, Daniel Humm and Emeril Lagasse. He helped lead a restaurant that earned a James Beard Foundation nomination for Best New Restaurant, was named Best Caribbean Restaurant 2015 by Caribbean Journal, and received multiple recognitions from The Daily Meal, including its 101 Best Hotel Restaurants in the World list and a #4 ranking among the Best Restaurants in Latin America and the Caribbean.

He has been featured in StarChefs magazine’s Rising Stars program, collaborated with Michelin‑starred chefs, and played a key role in hosting the Estrella Damm Culinary Congress 2025 in Miami. The event brought Chef Eduard Xatruch of Disfrutar, named World’s Best Restaurant 2024 by The World’s 50 Best Restaurants and awarded three Michelin stars, to the city.

The season begins with the Big Game event, where game‑day favourites will be reimagined through Chef Rosado’s lens, blending local flavours and oceanfront viewing on Sunday, February 8, 2026.

Spring follows with an Easter Brunch highlighting seasonal ingredients and island traditions, and a Mother’s Day Brunch designed to honour family, connection and comforting flavours.
