Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita Appoints Macall Newman as Resort Manager
Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita, the Forbes Five-Star resort set across 52 beachfront acres along Mexico’s Riviera Nayarit coast, announces the appointment of Macall Newman as Resort Manager. A 15-year Four Seasons veteran whose career has spanned luxury city hotels, remote destination resorts, and the brand's acclaimed Private Jet and Yacht experiences, Newman brings a uniquely global perspective and passion for people to her new role on Mexico's Pacific coast.
As Resort Manager, Newman will oversee the day to day operations of the oceanfront resort, working closely with teams across the property to continue delivering the exceptional service, authentic hospitality, and memorable experiences for which Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita is known worldwide.
Newman's Four Seasons journey began at Four Seasons Hotel Boston, where she held Front Desk and Housekeeping positions before relocating to Los Angeles as Front Office Manager and later Assistant Director of Rooms. Drawn to destination-driven hospitality and immersive guest experiences, she moved to Thailand, serving as Director of Rooms at Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui before taking on the role of Camp Manager at Four Seasons Tented Camp Golden Triangle, one of the brand's most distinctive luxury experiences.
Most recently, Newman served as Senior Director of Hospitality Operations, Private Jet and Yacht, where she spent more than two years helping to shape and oversee some of the company's most exclusive travel experiences. In the role, she supported journeys spanning continents and oceans, collaborating with teams around the world to deliver highly personalized service at every touchpoint.
"Macall's career is a remarkable example of curiosity, adaptability and a commitment to excellence," says John O'Sullivan, Regional Vice President and General Manager, Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita. "Few leaders have experienced the breadth of our brand the way she has, from urban hotels and remote luxury camps to our Private Jet and Yacht operations. Her passion for people, operational expertise, and deep understanding of luxury hospitality make her an outstanding addition to our leadership team, and we are delighted to welcome her to Punta Mita."
An avid traveler and adventurer, Newman has hiked both Mount Kilimanjaro and the Himalayas and is continually seeking destinations off the beaten path. Having studied Spanish Literature in college, she looks forward to further immersing herself in the local culture and language while calling Punta Mita home. Passionate about food and bringing people together, she is known among friends and family for hosting memorable dinner parties, a natural fit for life in one of Mexico's most celebrated culinary destinations. When not traveling, Newman enjoys spending time with family in her hometown of Boston and cheering on her beloved New England Patriots.
