Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita Introduces Two Distinctive New Caviar Experiences

A Pan-Asian tasting at Aramara and a Mexican-inspired afternoon ritual featuring Petrossian Royal Daurenki Caviar offer two new expressions of caviar in Punta Mita

Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita, the Forbes Five-Star oceanfront resort on Mexico's Riviera Nayarit, introduces two new caviar experiences shaped by the flavours, setting and easy rhythm of Mexico’s Pacific coast. At Aramara, a four-course tasting explores caviar through the restaurant’s Pan-Asian perspective, while La Hora del Caviar reimagines traditional caviar service as a leisurely afternoon ritual grounded in the traditions of Mexico.

Crafted as two expressions of the Resort’s culinary identity, the experiences offer a less conventional way to enjoy one of the world’s most celebrated delicacies. At Aramara, Japanese technique, citrus and umami bring precision and contrast; at La Hora del Caviar, blue corn, huitlacoche, Tajín and molcajete salsa make the experience colourful, convivial and unmistakably Mexican.

At the heart of both experiences is Petrossian Royal Daurenki Caviar, selected for its firm texture, creamy character and lingering umami notes, qualities that hold their own whether paired with yuzu kosho at Aramara or Tajín-dusted jícama at La Hora del Caviar.

“Caviar has long been associated with a very particular kind of formality, and we saw an opportunity to approach it differently,” said John O'Sullivan, Regional Vice President and General Manager, Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita. “In Punta Mita, celebration doesn’t always need a reason. It can be an anniversary or a family milestone, but it can just as easily be everyone around the same table or a spectacular sunset at the end of the day. These experiences capture that spirit: generous, full of flavour, rooted in this place and meant to be shared.”

Aramara Caviar Quartet

At Aramara, the Resort’s signature Pan-Asian restaurant, the Aramara Caviar Quartet explores how one caviar can shift in character across four composed bites.

In place of a traditional caviar presentation, Royal Daurenki Caviar takes on new range course to course, from bright and clean to deep and savory. From the clean richness of bluefin tuna and yuzu kosho to the earthy warmth of shiitake and wild mushroom chawanmushi, each course reveals a different side of the caviar while remaining grounded in Aramara’s distinctive culinary point of view.

Designed to be enjoyed as an introduction to the evening or as an experience unto itself, the quartet offers a progression of:

  • Bluefin Tuna Tostada with Yuzu Kosho
  • Hamachi Sashimi with Lemon Gel
  • Roasted Brioche Crostini with Fig Jam and Foie Gras
  • Shiitake and Wild Mushroom Chawanmushi

The Aramara Caviar Quartet is priced at MXN 700 per guest.

La Hora del Caviar

La Hora del Caviar brings vibrancy and ease to a traditionally formal service, giving way to the relaxed rhythms of Riviera Nayarit.

Available at Cora Lounge and in every casita, suite, villa and residence across the Resort, the experience is made for the unhurried hours between afternoon and evening. It might arrive on a private terrace for two, become the centre of the table as family and friends gather in a villa, or accompany sunset drinks at Cora Lounge.

Royal Daurenki Caviar is served alongside a generous spread of Mexican accompaniments chosen for their contrasts in taste and texture: cool, crisp jícama; roasted corn with its smoky sweetness; lemon brightened with Tajín; earthy huitlacoche; blue corn tostadas; creamy avocado; and fresh salsa prepared in a molcajete. Corn blinis and crema Mexicana provide a subtle connection to classic caviar service while allowing the flavours of Mexico to take the lead.

Together, the accompaniments move between briny and bright, creamy and crisp, earthy and smoky, inviting guests to mix, taste and share at their own pace. The result retains the indulgence associated with caviar while replacing some of its ceremony with the warmth of a Mexican table.

La Hora del Caviar is priced at MXN 3,800, with an optional pairing of Moët & Chandon Rosé Champagne bringing the complete experience to MXN 8,400.

Both experiences are available beginning September 23, 2026. Reservations for the Aramara Caviar Quartet can be made through Aramara; La Hora del Caviar can be booked through Cora Lounge or in-room dining.
