Four Seasons Resort Seychelles at Desroches Island is elevating breakfast, literally and figuratively, with the launch of Breakfast on the Runway, a playful, sunrise-themed dining experience served directly on the island’s private airstrip, available from January 15, 2026, until February 15, 2026.

Designed for early risers and adventure-seekers, this one-of-a-kind pop-up experience, created as part of the Resort’s Valentine’s celebrations, brings the island’s wild beauty and signature culinary excellence together in a setting that feels both surreal and spectacular. The runway, normally reserved for arrivals and departures, transforms at dawn into an intimate open-air dining venue, where romance lingers in the air and couples can share a truly unforgettable moment as the island slowly wakes up around them.

A Sunrise Menu to Match the Moment

Guests are welcomed with Golden Hour Bites, Turmeric Energy Balls, Coconut Rolls, and Chia Health Bites, crafted to complement the warm glow of the early morning light. The indulgence continues with an Assorted Breakfast Pastry Selection featuring pain au chocolat, pain Suisse, croissants (plain and cheese), cinnamon rolls, and fruit Danishes.

The freshness of the island shines through an Exotic Fruit Platter of pineapple, papaya, honeydew, passion fruit, and guava, paired beautifully with an Artisan Cheese Selection of brie, Comté, Manchego, and goat’s cheese.

For wellness-minded guests, Healthy Jars offer two inspired combinations:

  • Blueberry, quinoa, yogurt, nuts, and seeds
  • Buckwheat, lemon yogurt, avocado, and honey

Signature highlights include Red Velvet Pancakes with vanilla cream and berry compote, and Poached Organic Island Eggs served with a fricassée of local garden vegetables.

To complete the morning celebration, guests can enjoy premium teas and freshly brewed coffee, an assortment of freshly pressed juices, or a classic Mimosa as the sun ascends over the horizon.

An Experience Limited to One Table a Day

This dining moment is offered once per day only, ideally timed to capture the golden sunrise between 6:00 am and 6:15 am, a fleeting window that makes the experience all the more magical. With no aircraft movements during this time, guests have the entire runway to themselves, creating a sense of intimacy, serenity, and pure island whimsy. Priced at EUR 245 per set and designed to comfortably serve two guests, the experience may also be enjoyed by individual guests, with the full set price applying.
