Having joined Four Seasons Resort Sharm El Sheikh as General Manager in February 2026, Kai Winkler brings more than three decades of international luxury hospitality experience to the Red Sea destination. With a career spanning eight countries, he is recognized for operational excellence, strategic leadership, and a deep commitment to cultivating high-performing teams.

Throughout his career, Kai has led large-scale resorts and iconic properties, consistently elevating service standards while driving strong business performance. Prior to joining the resort, he led Fairmont St. Andrews in Scotland, where his leadership earned notable industry recognition.

At Four Seasons Resort Sharm El Sheikh, Kai oversees all aspects of the resort’s operations, working closely with the leadership team to further strengthen its position as one of the region’s premier luxury destinations. He is passionate about innovation, sustainability, and ensuring that every guest journey — from arrival to departure — reflects the highest standards of excellence.
Originally from Germany, Kai developed an early interest in international travel and cultural exchange, which ultimately shaped his global career in hospitality. Outside of work, he enjoys exploring new destinations, spending time with family, and experiencing local culinary traditions — passions that continue to inspire his approach to leadership in luxury hospitality.
