Grand Opening of Chi Longevity Clinic at Four Seasons Hotel Singapore

Expansion in Singapore marks a significant milestone as Chi opens second clinic extending its presence in the city and providing guests with innovative evidence-based longevity and health optimisation services

Following the success of its flagship clinic at Camden Medical Centre, Chi Longevity, a global leader in healthy longevity, has opened its second clinic, at Four Seasons Hotel Singapore. This marks a significant milestone for the clinic, which has already gained recognition for its evidence-based approach to slowing biological ageing and optimising health.

Founded in March 2023, Chi Longevity is the first private clinic in Singapore dedicated to slowing the biological ageing process. Chi Longevity utilises the latest scientific advancements in longevity research to offer tailored, evidence-driven programs that optimise health and enhance the quality of life for individuals at any stage of life. The clinic’s multidisciplinary team - including doctors, dietitians, psychologists, and health coaches - work together to provide comprehensive and preventative care, a unique approach rarely seen in conventional healthcare settings.

The new 1,205 square foot (112 square metre) Chi Longevity clinic at Four Seasons Hotel Singapore will offer clients tailored health assessments, incorporating advanced diagnostic tools such as blood tests, cognitive testing and genetic profiling from the Hotel. This will be Specialised Programs (Gene Insights: Nutrition & Health, Biological Age Reveal, Body Recomposition, Glucose Navigator: Blood Sugar Analysis, Gut Health Optimisation, Sleep and Stress, and Physical Performance) and à la carte options, starting from SGD 1,800. These insights will inform bespoke action plans that optimise clients' biological, functional, and behavioural profiles.

The new clinic will feature equipment to detect early markers of cardiovascular risk, and cardiopulmonary exercise testing to assess metabolic rate and oxygen consumption for respiratory health. For example, the clinic’s new AGE Reader uses ultraviolet light to excite autofluorescence in human skin tissue, which provides an immediate cardiovascular risk prediction in 12 seconds.* Bioelectrical impedance analysis tests also provide data on body fat percentage, muscle mass and body water distribution. A variety of tests are also used to assess clients’ epigenetic, inflammation, microbiome, blood age and cognitive health. These are especially effective as changes in glycan profiles for example, which reflect systemic inflammation and immune ageing, can predate disease by up to 10 years.

"At Chi Longevity, we believe the process of ageing can be actively managed," says Professor Andrea Maier, Founder of Chi Longevity. "Through a combination of genetic testing, blood panels, continuous glucose monitoring, and psychosocial assessments, we can identify and address age-related health risks long before they manifest. Unlike traditional healthcare, which often focuses on treating symptoms, our aim is to repair cellular damage, optimise organ function, and enhance both mental and physical agility."

As global life expectancy increases, people are seeking ways to age healthily and remain active longer, fuelling demand for innovative approaches to longevity. As such, the health longevity industry is experiencing rapid growth with the WHO and UN collaboration on the “Decade of Healthy Ageing (2021-2031)” and investors such as the Hevolution Fund committing USD 20 billion over the next 20 years - all revealing that the biological ageing process can be slowed, managed, and even reversed. Singapore leads the world in this area, with scientists and clinicians investigating multifaceted aspects of ageing at the Singapore NUS Health Longevity program. The opening of Chi Longevity’s second clinic, at Four Seasons Hotel Singapore, marks a pivotal moment in this evolving field, combining evidence-based longevity practices with the luxury hospitality experience, and offering guests personalised, science-backed health optimisation programs.

“At Four Seasons Hotel Singapore, there has always been a strong focus on wellness and well-being, and even more so in the last couple of years. Part of our overall health and wellness offerings at the Hotel, we are thrilled to share this new experience of an in-house premier medical clinic with guests, where they have the opportunity to prioritise their health and reconnect with themselves through an immersive journey during their stay with u,s” says Peter Draminsky, Regional Vice President and General Manager of the Hotel.

As part of this collaboration, the culinary team at Four Seasons Hotel Singapore will also be working closely with Chi Longevity’s expert dietitians to create a specially curated menu at Pool House (Level Three), one of the Hotel’s dining outlets. The outlet offers guests a range of health-focused, nourishing dishes designed to complement the philosophy of Chi Longevity. Combining the artistry of Four Seasons chefs with the science of nutrition, the offerings are crafted to support overall well-being while providing a flavourful and satisfying dining experience.

Chi Longevity’s clinic at Four Seasons Hotel Singapore is located on Level Three and open Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 5:3 0pm, as well as on Saturdays from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm.

* The AGE Reader is a non-invasive monitoring device that uses ultra-violet light to excite autofluorescence in human skin tissue. The autofluorescence is from the level of Advanced Glycation End products (AGEs). The measurement of AGEs provides an immediate cardiovascular risk prediction in 12 seconds. The AGE Reader has been validated against the gold standard for measuring AGEs (skin biopsies). This showed skin autofluorescence is strongly correlated with AGEs. This test measures the amount of AGEs or Advanced Glycation End Products under your skin. AGEs are compounds which form when sugar attaches to proteins, fats and nucleic acids in your blood.
