This Father’s Day, Cinder House at Four Seasons Hotel St. Louis pairs its spectacular views of the Gateway Arch and downtown skyline with craft beer, whiskey, and steak for a truly unforgettable and outsized celebration.  Dad will feel the appreciation with a decadent experience featuring tasting flights from craft brewers New Belgium Brewing and Bell’s Brewery and artisanal spirits from St. Louis’ own Still 630.  Steak lovers can opt for the special weekend dinner menu item of a koji aged certified black angus tomahawk.  Here’s a roundup of all the Father’s Day offerings at Cinder House.

Craft Beer and Bourbon Tasting Flights

Throughout Father’s Day weekend - Saturday, June 18 and Sunday June 19, 2022 – Cinder House guests can taste through flights of craft beer and award-winning whiskey. Cinder House’s private dining room, Dia’s Room, will be turned into a tasting room for the weekend. The founder of Still 630 and brand ambassadors for New Belgium Brewing / Bell’s Brewery will provide guests with a personalized experience, highlighting the brands’ history and tasting through the selections on offer.  Guests will also receive a keepsake to remember their Father’s Day celebration.  For those who wish to order a full flight, they will be available on request, as follows:

  • New Belgium Brewing / Bell’s Brewery Brewing - Flight of four 5-ounce beer tasters, including: Bell’s Two Hearted Ale, an iconic American IPA; Bell’s No, Yeah golden ale; New Belgium Fat Tire Amber Ale; and, New Belgium Trippel, dry Belgian-style ale. The cost of the flight is USD 12.
  • Still 630 – Flight of three 1-ounce tasters, including: Big Jake Breakfast Brew, which combines two of St. Louis' favourite things - whiskey and coffee; Rallypoint Straight Rye Whiskey, classically smooth and great tasting; and, Missouri Straight Bourbon Whiskey Single Barrel, made with love and 100 percent Missouri grown corn. The cost of the whiskey flight is USD 16.

Tomahawk Steak Special

Dinner guests on Saturday, June 18 and Sunday, June 19, 2022 can indulge in a very special menu item prepared especially with Dad in mind - koji aged certified black angus tomahawk, a bone-in ribeye steak ranging between 26-32 ounces.  This is served with foie gras dirty rice, charred garlic scapes, and bone marrow chimi churri.  The price of special will vary from USD 130 to 170, depending on exact weight.

Father’s Day Brunch

On Sunday, June 19, 2022, Cinder House will serve brunch from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm and guests can choose from eleven of the restaurant’s classic brunch entrees as well as graze at a lavish bread and patisserie presentation and indulge in a sumptuous dessert display.  All breads and dessert are freshly prepared and baked by the exceptional in-house pastry culinary team. The cost is USD 45 per person, and reservations are required and can be made on Open Table.  To add another level to the celebration, diners can choose to add on a tasting flight of Still 630 whiskeys for USD 16 or craft beers from New Belgium Brewing and Bell’s Brewery flight for the cost of USD 12.
