Marking yet another milestone, SÉZANNE, the signature French restaurant at Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Marunouchi, claimed the title of Restaurant of the Year at the Tatler Best Awards 2025, announced in Bangkok on October 21 and 22, 2025.

Honouring excellence in the hospitality industry, the Tatler Best Awards celebrate trailblazers in dining and travel across Asia-Pacific. As Restaurant of the Year, SÉZANNE joins the coveted group of Tatler’s Best-in-Class winners, affirming its pre-eminent position among the most exceptional dining destinations in the region.

“Thank you to the Tatler panel for this incredible recognition. What we’ve built at SÉZANNE is rooted in our team’s commitment – to our guests, to the details and to each other,” said Executive Chef Daniel Calvert. “We’re proud of how the culinary experience continues to evolve, but what stays constant is our mission to craft an exceptional journey for each guest who comes through our doors. A special thank you as well to our partners – your support is a vital part of every success we celebrate.”

General Manager Jens Wycisk also expressed his delight: “To emerge at the pinnacle of such an impressive list is a truly remarkable achievement – we’re all delighted for the SÉZANNE team. It’s an honour to be recognised by Tatler Best, a leading voice in Asia’s travel and hospitality scene.”

The Tatler distinction follows several other recognitions for SÉZANNE. The restaurant recently received its second consecutive three Michelin star rating and was named #7 of the World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2025. It also clinched the title of Best Restaurant in Japan among Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants 2025.

Even as SÉZANNE continues to captivate guests and industry insiders alike, its vision evolves in new and exciting ways. With Chef Daniel and his team always in search of the next seasonal star, the next great dish, a dynamic energy pulses at the heart of the menu. This is culinary excellence in motion, fuelled not only by the rhythms of nature but also the human quest for the extraordinary.

Situated in Tokyo’s vibrant Marunouchi district, SÉZANNE serves classically rooted modern French cuisine, crafted with a light touch and plated with precision. The menu, which spotlights seasonal Japanese ingredients, is paired with an eclectic curation of  Champagne, wine and sake. Merging French and Japanese aesthetics, the interiors by acclaimed interior designer André Fu set the stage for relaxed luxury, with a sleek open kitchen offering behind-the-scene glimpses.
