La Dolce Vita Thursdays are all about celebrating life's simple pleasures, and Braidwood Tavern is set to spotlight the soul of this vibrant Italian tradition to guests.

With vibrant colours and a charming set up including a baby blue authentic Italian Vespa, classic pergola and the patio dotted with lemon and olive trees, guests are invited to settle into this creatively playful yet sophisticated mode of al fresco dining in an Italian-inspired patio. Live music will echo the warmth of the occasion with splendid sunsets and mountain vistas in the background.  

La Dolce Vita’s dining menu offers a storied journey through Italy. At the helm is Chef de Cuisine Horacio Macias Leon, who remarks, “Our menu is a tribute to the vibrant flavours and joyful spirit of Italy, crafted with the freshest local ingredients and a touch of contemporary flair – we even have a cheese wheel to ensure pasta is cooked in creamy, cheesy goodness.”  To start, the antipasti selection of traditional offerings includes salads, cured meat and cheese platters, marinated olives, sundried tomatoes, focaccia, and much, much more. For mains, a mouth-watering selection of homemade pasta, saffron-infused risotto and gnocchi will be on offer, accompanied by the chef’s choice of homemade sauces and sides including clams, mussels, and shrimps. Deliciously (and visually) appealing, one option is pasta tossed in the rich and creamy Parmesan wheel – this entire assortment capturing the charm of Italian classic dishes. A live cooking station will feature the exquisite ossobuco - braised veal with gremolata.

End the evening on a sweet note with an addition of delicate and rich tiramisu, arguably a transcendent experience – and not to be missed.

The drinks menu features a recently launched array of Italian-themed cocktails. A heavenly Tiramisu Espresso Martini, topped with mascarpone foam for decadent creaminess, is a must for all who love to indulge. The time for an aperitivo has arrived, and with it the inclusive and inviting Rosa Fizz. Oleo Saccharum offers a smooth, fruity depth, while the addition of Malfy Gin Rosa embodies the classic Amalfi lifestyle, sip by sip. For lovers of tradition, guests need look no further than a meticulously crafted artisanal Negroni, an ode to the timeless classic with a modern twist including Los Siete Misterios Mezcal and a hint of tangerine.
