Promising to revolutionise evening entertainment in the capital with a comprehensive sensory experience, ISA has surpassed all expectations by being chosen for the second year in a row as a recommended restaurant in the Michelin Guide, which describes this oasis of Asian cuisine as an “eclectic restaurant that serves sophisticated fusion-style cuisine to an elegant and exotic backdrop, where outstanding and highly refined Asian-influenced street food is to the fore.”

What started as a small guidebook with recommendations for French drivers has become the largest global list of endorsements with constantly updated information about the best places to go for superb gastronomy. ISA is presented as a love letter to Asia and its eclectic beauty overseen by Camille Sirault, the new restaurant manager who orchestrates a team striving for excellence in reflection of her outstanding international career in the hospitality industry and leaving nothing to chance.

Trained at the best Michelin restaurants nationwide alongside such famous chefs as David Muñoz, Martín Berasategui and Dani García, Nacho Vara is the mastermind behind the menu at ISA. The food is defined by this chef’s enthusiasm to discover the world and his daring contrast of textures and flavours that are intrinsic to the oriental philosophy, including temakis, rolls, nigiris and raw gems such as the sashimi trio with pieces of salmon, tuna and hamachi, or his special tartares. Furthermore, the menu offers main courses that are perfect for sharing (or not!), such as the Iberian Pork Katsu Sando or the Miso Black Cod, accompanied by exquisite garnishes before concluding with desserts that include his Chocolate & Matcha Lava Cake or the Mango Sudachi. For the indecisive diner, the Kaiseki menu offers an exquisite selection of some of the most iconic flavours on the menu, including several nigiris alongside Wagyu Gyozas, Crispy Whole Sea Bass and original Mochis such as the one made with pistachio.

On the first floor of Four Seasons Hotel Madrid, ISA enjoys a privileged location in Madrid. Its large windows allow guests to enjoy an impressive view of luxury city life in Madrid at the corner of Calle Alcalá and Calle Sevilla. The interior is divided into multiple rooms that can all be made private when needed. Each one overflows with elegance and sophistication with an exotic oriental touch that, enveloped in glamour and character, provide an overarching connection with the space as a whole.

Featuring a spectacular circular bar standing beneath hand-painted artwork on the ceiling, the main room invites guests to be delighted by the artistry of its Head Bartender Miguel Pérez, who will use this bar as a stage on which to captivate his clientèle with his creations. Each cocktail therefore reveals a combination of complex flavours with a minimalist approach that is constantly evolving. ISA also stands as a temple to sake enthusiasts, the quintessential Japanese beverage that lives here alongside bottles of limited edition Japanese spirits and whiskies that can be tasted in his “Hibiki Experience” pairing sessions, a perfect harmony of snacks with three Highball cocktails - very popular in Japan and made with the magnificent Hibiki.

The gastronomy and cocktails are complemented by the most fun and slick entertainment for both Hotel guests and the local public in general with live music and DJs on the most special of occasions. ISA recently introduced its “Funky Tuesdays” to combine the contagious rhythm of this music with an irresistible range of cocktails at more affordable prices.
