Four Seasons Hotel Abu Dhabi Unveils Perspective, Crafted, An Immersive Celebration of Creativity, Craftsmanship and Connection

October 16, 2026,
Abu Dhabi, U.A.E.

This October, Four Seasons Hotel Abu Dhabi at Al Maryah Island marks its 10th anniversary with Perspective, Crafted, an immersive programme that brings together design, storytelling, heritage and craftsmanship to celebrate the people and ideas that have shaped the hotel and its connection to Abu Dhabi.

Running until October 23, 2026, the experience invites guests to discover the hotel through a different lens, tracing a decade of defining moments through the details, creativity and human stories woven into its identity. From striking floral artistry and thoughtful design to culinary experiences and moments of reflection, Perspective, Crafted offers an invitation to pause, look closer and experience the hotel in a new way.

At the heart of the experience, a striking floral installation transforms the lobby and Al Meylas Lounge into an immersive visual landscape. Created as a contemporary expression of the anniversary, the installation combines abundant blooms in rich shades of purple and lilac with an impressive sense of scale, inviting guests to look up, pause and experience the familiar space anew. The floral composition becomes more than a decorative centrepiece, reflecting the creativity and craftsmanship that have become part of the hotel’s story over the past decade.

“Our 10th anniversary marks an extraordinary milestone for Four Seasons Hotel Abu Dhabi, celebrating ten years of remarkable people, memorable experiences and meaningful connections,” says Bob Suri, General Manager, Four Seasons Hotel Abu Dhabi at Al Maryah Island. “With Perspective, Crafted, our team has curated an immersive anniversary programme that celebrates the creativity, craftsmanship and heartfelt hospitality that define our hotel. We drew inspiration from the remarkable evolution of Abu Dhabi and Al Maryah Island, the destination we are proud to call home”.

Expressing the spirit of Perspective, Crafted through culinary artistry, the limited-time Perspectives in Bloom: An Anniversary Afternoon Tea, created by Executive Chef Christian Buenrostro and Executive Pastry Chef Rasika Weerasinghe, draws inspiration from the immersive floral installation, translating its colours, textures and creativity into an elegant collection of sweet and savoury creations with locally inspired Emirati flavours.

The menu brings together thoughtful interpretations of familiar ingredients, including a Purple Bloom Tartlet with saffron labneh, Khalas dates, black lime and pickled beetroot, alongside Zaatar Man' Oushe with pistachio cream, black garlic and Emirati date molasses. Among the sweet creations, Ruby Gahwa combines Arabic coffee chocolate with chocolate crémeux and sour cherry compote, offering a contemporary interpretation of traditional flavours. Served in Al Meylas Lounge, surrounded by the floral installation that inspired its creation, the afternoon tea brings the anniversary experience to the table, inviting guests to discover the story through flavour, presentation and craftsmanship.

Alongside the bespoke floral installation, an exhibition developed in collaboration with the National Library and Archives UAE traces the transformation of Al Maryah Island through archival and contemporary imagery, some of which will be exhibited publicly for the first time. Presented as a series of ‘then and now’ moments, the exhibition connects the hotel’s story with the evolution of Abu Dhabi, highlighting the vision and innovation that have transformed Al Maryah Island into a leading business, lifestyle and cultural destination, while inviting guests, residents and the wider community to reflect on the island’s history and heritage.
