Cai Yi Xuan and Mio, the Chinese and Italian restaurants at Four Seasons Hotel Beijing, have once again been recognized in the Michelin Guide Restaurant Ceremony Beijing, Tianjin 2027, marking eight consecutive years of recognition for both restaurants.

“Recognition is certainly worth celebrating, but more meaningful than any single accolade is the dedication sustained over time,” says Lili Wong, general manager of Four Seasons Hotel Beijing. “Good food is about more than technical skill. It is also an expression of the thought and feeling that people bring to a shared meal. The teams at Cai Yi Xuan and Mio approach every dish with sincerity, striving to maintain consistently high standards in their cooking. This recognition inspires us to do even better and reminds us to cherish every guest who chooses to dine with us. For the entire team, it is a meaningful acknowledgement of their dedication, and I could not be prouder of them.”

Located on the second floor of Four Seasons Hotel Beijing, Cai Yi Xuan is designed as an art garden, where Chinese aesthetics are expressed through thoughtful details and spatial harmony. Dark, high-gloss zebrawood flooring lends warmth and depth to the space, while eight private dining rooms, two VIP rooms, and a dedicated chef’s table create an intimate setting that balances the formality of business occasions with the warmth of gatherings among family and friends.

The culinary team follows a philosophy that honours the changing seasons and the natural bounty of land and sea, with a focus on preserving the purest seasonal flavours. With over two decades of culinary expertise, Executive Chef Li Qiang balances tradition and innovation. By thoughtfully weaving northern Chinese ingredients into the signature wok hei of classic Cantonese cooking, he creates contemporary Cantonese dishes that bring together ingredients and influences from northern and southern China.

Cai Yi Xuan is open daily from 11:30 am to 1:30pm and 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm. For reservations, please call +86 (10) 5695 8520 or book online through TableCheck at least 24 hours in advance.

At Mio, our Italian restaurant at Four Seasons Hotel Beijing, dining is centred on the warmth and conviviality of Italian food culture. The name Mio, meaning my or mine in Italian, reflects an approach that values personal connection and the pleasure of sharing a meal. The restaurant has entered a new chapter with a relaxed style of Italian dining centred on generous, sharing-style dishes and a welcoming atmosphere inspired by the Tuscan tradition of hospitality.

“Tuscany is the birthplace of Italian culture and language. It is a place of warmth and ease, where people understand the true meaning of living well,” says Chef Francesco.

At Mio, Tuscan conviviality meets Beijing’s juqi, a spirit of generosity, warmth, and camaraderie, expressed through honest, unpretentious Italian cooking.

Mio is open Tuesday to Sunday from 11:30am to 2:00 pm and 5:30 pm to 10:00 pm. For reservations, please call +86 (10) 5695 8522 or book online through TableCheck at least 24 hours in advance.
