A fresh chapter begins on the east coast of Mauritius this November. Four Seasons Resort Mauritius at Anahita unveils a bold reimagining of its culinary identity, designed by ELASTIC, through seven redesigned dining venues, each offering a vivid blend of global inspiration and local soul.

Framed by a canvas of turquoise waters and lush tropical greens, the Resort’s new-look culinary landscape will serve up a symphony of immersive experiences, from refined Japanese and Asian fusion to theatrical Indian feasts, barefoot beach grills to rum-soaked island rhythms. Whether sipping an aperitivo by the lagoon or dancing in the sand to local beats, rum punch in hand, the new-look resort's six signature venues fuse flavour, flair, and feeling under the Mauritian sun.

Blu’Zil: From Daylight Chill to Starlit Thrill

The heartbeat of the Resort’s social scene, Blu’Zil is where lagoon-view nibbles and laid-back lunches drift into buzzy, star-lit nights. Watch as the ocean, skies and clouds change from vibrant tropical colours to their pastel sunset palette as craft cocktails and island energy flow.

Rum Library: Botanicals and Island Stories

Settle in with rare craft rums from the Vanilla Islands celebrating their rich rum heritage, surrounded by an intimate and timeless décor. Explore different blends infused with native botanicals, share a shisha, a cigar or vibe to live music.

Angara: Fire. Flavour. Flair.

Step into the heat at Angara, a sensorial celebration of Indian cuisine. Overlooking the lagoon, this elegant tandoor theatre ignites shared feasts, chai rituals, and vibrant cocktails with layered spices and flaming finesse; a modern ode to tradition and togetherness. Chef Saravana Bhagavath invites guests on a three-course Journey Through Modern Indian Flavours, blending tradition and innovation. For friends or families dining together, The Maharaja’s Angara experience includes Thali selections Tandoori platters, Biriyani and more.

Awase: A Fusion of Precision and Play

Floating above the water, Awase invites diners on a journey where Japanese omakase mastery meets pan-Asian creativity. Drawing from modern Japanese and seasonal artistry, Chef Wattana’s Enbu, The Dance of Flames short ribs clay pot and each sip of sake tell a story of harmony, heritage, and innovation in motion.

Mazette: Where Island Breeze Meets Mediterranean Ease

At Mazette, the flavours inspired by the Mediterranean and the French Riviera meet the rhythms of Mauritius. From sun-drenched breakfasts to poolside lunches in a breezy, ocean-toned setting, Mazette shifts into celebration mode with lively Creole Nights, filled with local music, dance, and spice.

Radici: Rooted in Italian Soul

In this elegant trattoria, Radici—meaning "roots"—celebrates the deep traditions of Italian family dining. Flame-kissed pizzas, handmade pastas with Chef Sergio Favata’s La Nostra Carbonara as a crown jewel, and more “Nonna’s Favourites” are paired with aperitivo hour classics at the bar. It’s Italy, island-style: chic, flavourful, and full of heart.

Ti Pwason: Island Soul, Grilled to Perfection

Barefoot in the sand, rum in hand — Ti Pwason is the soul of island dining. Here, the catch of the day sizzles over open flames, while Creole flavours, live beats, and handcrafted cocktails stir up an unforgettable beachside buzz. Come for the sunset, stay for the spirit.

"Our seven newly enhanced and reconceptualized restaurants celebrate both the rich cultural tapestry of Mauritius and a global culinary artistry," says Martin Dell, General Manager of Four Seasons Resort Mauritius. "From the vibrant flavours of Angara, honouring the island’s Indian heritage with authentic tandoor cooking, to the refined blend of Japanese and Asian influences of Awase, and Radici’s rustic charm of a traditional trattoria, each venue tells its own story. Guests can indulge in the sun-kissed tastes of the Mediterranean at Mazette, the French Riviera-inspired main restaurant, or savour the freshest local seafood on the beach at Ti Pwason. With the addition of our curated Rum Library, every dining moment is designed to be a journey of flavours and aromas, connecting our guests to both the heart of Mauritius and the wider world."

Following a seven-month transformation, in November 2025 the resort unveils a fresh new look that brings the island’s natural beauty, like a live canvas, into its new design and feel. The enhancement brings elegantly reimagined villas and residences, and an all-new wellness offering with immersive experiences in the one-of-its kind expanded overwater Spa along with its portfolio of distinctive dining experiences. The resort continues to champion sustainability, from protecting marine biodiversity through its pioneering seagrass meadow nursery and seahorse conservation projects to growing its endemic fauna and flora offering a sense of balance and connection to the spirit of Mauritius.

With six dynamic venues, the new culinary collection at Four Seasons Resort Mauritius at Anahita celebrates the diversity of global cuisine, the warmth of local culture, and the joy of shared moments.
