Four Seasons Hotel Milano Celebrates Winter and Sports in Milan with the New Arctic Lodge and Transforms its Traditional Merenda into the New Arctic Merenda for the Month of February

Milan is taking centre stage on the international scene this winter and Four Seasons Hotel Milano is transforming itself to welcome a new immersive experience inspired by winter sports, turning the spaces of the historic former convent in Via Gesù, in the heart of Milan, into a dynamic urban retreat. Here, the Arctic Lodge sets a new atmosphere for guests, and the Arctic Merenda becomes the unmissable event of February.

The hotel welcomes winter and sports creating an emotional journey that accompanies guests through alpine suggestions, reflective surfaces, floral compositions, and plays of light, in perfect dialogue with the refined identity of this iconic hospitality address. At the heart of the space are the installations that make the lobby and the common areas alive: portals inspired by the geometry of the mountains and mirrored structures that amplify the depth of the spaces. A tunnel of chrome skis embellished with floral elements accompanies guests to Camino, the hotel's most private space. At Camino, the experience continues with ice-effect botanical installations. The materials evoke the purity of winter and the power of the alpine landscape, reinterpreted in a contemporary key.

Outside in the private garden stand different elements reinforcing the immersive nature of the experience, in the comfort of a space featuring white velvet sofas, wood, and decorative details to recreate the atmosphere of mountain refuges, offering guests moments of conviviality.

In this magical atmosphere, Milan's iconic event, the Merenda, cannot be missed. Born by the creativity of Executive Chef Fabrizio Borraccino, Pastry Chef Stefano Trovisi, and Bar Manager Alejandro Pellejero to celebrate winter, the mountains, and sports, the Arctic Merenda is available every day starting February 2, 2026, from 12:00 noon to 9:30 pm.

By booking at the hotel or purchasing a ticket on OpenTable, guests can access the magic of winter in the mountains at the Arctic Lodge, where they can enjoy the Merenda, choosing between two options: the savoury option, which includes the Malga fondue with pinzimonio and black bread croutons, or the sweet option, which includes the Sweet fondue, made with Agricacao chocolate and 75 percent Criollo dark chocolate. All of this will be accompanied by Madagascar vanilla marshmallows and strawberries.

The winter experience continues and after the fondue, guests can taste a tiered stand, which includes savoury bites - seasoned prosciutto and breadsticks; a sandwich with guacamole and smoked salmon; spinach and Parmigiano Reggiano quiche chicory croquettes with anchovy mayonnaise; black bread sandwich with chicken, tomato, and lettuce – and sweet delights: chocolate madeleine, raspberry inspiration, exotic Rocher, coconut and Madagascar vanilla sable; Piedmont IGP hazelnut tartlet, 43 percent Jivara chocolate and tonka bean; choux with salted caramel chantilly, 35 percent Dulcey blond chocolate and mascarpone cream; strawberry and rose petal macarons, 70 percent Guanaja chocolate, bombardino and Valtellina cream.

The cocktails that accompany the Arctic Lodge experience are a must, paying homage to the famous mountain drink Bombardino - a warm, aromatic cocktail with a moderate alcohol content born from the legacy of punch - and a warm cocktail inspired by the classic mulled wine.

With this project, Four Seasons Hotel Milano confirms its vocation to reinterpret the great moments of contemporary life and the city through tailor-made experiences that combine hospitality, aesthetic research, and emotional lifestyle in a true tribute to sport, winter, and the art of hospitality.

The Arctic Merenda is available from 12:00 noon to 9:30 pm – a ticket is required to access the Arctic Lodge – which is for a minimum of two people, at a cost of EUR 65 per person – the experience will be available in 1 hour and 30-minute slots.

If guests wish to consume only beverages, the ticket will be valid as a minimum spending amount within the Arctic Lodge.

The tiered stands alone can be ordered at Stilla Bar, for two people, at a total cost of EUR 85.
