Get into the spirit of Halloween with the new Monster Festival Afternoon Tea at Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Marunouchi.

As the nights deepen and pumpkins start making their annual appearance, MAISON MARUNOUCHI unveils a spectacular spread to elicit chills and thrills. Available through October 2023, the Halloween-themed Afternoon Tea features six spook-tacular sweets, inspired by favourite monsters from campfire stories, literary classics and comic books.

As guests celebrate the spookiest time of the year, festive touches transform MAISON MARUNOUCHI into a vibrant wonderland. From pumpkins to maple leaves, the bounty of autumn brings a smiling warmth to every table.

No Tricks, Only Treats

Blending culinary artistry with a whole lot of fun, Executive Pastry Chef Patrick Thibaud presents a delicious menu of eerie delights — perfect for a laughter-filled afternoons with family or friends. Those in search of spooky Insta Stories will find plenty to keep their cameras busy!

Enjoy sweet creations such as Grumpy Ghost (caramel mousse and pear jelly); Dreamy Demon (financier with fig and raspberry jelly); and Cheeky Cat (macaron with blackberry ganache and apple jelly), crafted to conjure up ghostly frights and campfire nights.

Also making an appearance at the table are the iconic Frisky Frankenstein (layer cake with chestnut biscuit, matcha ganache, yuzu jelly and chestnut mousse) and Perky Pumpkin (meyer lemon curd, pumpkin biscuit and pumpkin cream with rice crumble). Guests can also enjoy the Halloween version of a teatime classic with Scary Scone (sweet potato scone with honey and black sesame glaze).

The sweets selection is complemented by fall-inspired savouries from Executive Chef Daniel Calvert. Celebrate the season’s harvest with light bites such as Espresso of mushroom cep oil, Coronation Crab with Tapioca and Mango, and Salmon Fishcake with Galangal Mayo. Guests will also find all-time favourites such as Corn Arancini Chorizo Aioli and Marunouchi Sausage Roll on the menu.

Hosted at MAISON MARUNOUCHI from October 1 to 31, 2023, the Monster Festival Afternoon Tea is available daily from 11:30 am to 4:30 pm.
