From trainee journeying to General Manager, always under the acclaimed Four Seasons marque, Haytham Said knows every detail about managing the most service-centric collection of hotel and resorts in the world is now taking the lead as General Manager of Four Seasons Hotel and Residences Fort Lauderdale.

“My path here is a collection of the people around me and the Four Seasons brand I am honoured to be a part of,” says Haytham. “I'm happy to lead this dynamic, creative and vibrant Fort Lauderdale team as Four Seasons continues to steer a new course in this spirited beach city.”

Cruising from one oceanfront destination to another along South Florida’s celebrated Atlantic coast, Haytham joined the Fort Lauderdale team from Four Seasons Hotel at The Surf Club, the legendary oceanfront hotel and residences known for its storied history, iconic design, and world-class hospitality. His tenure as Hotel Manager saw the design of unparalleled unique experiences, from seasonal residencies with Michelin-starred restaurants and sunset picnics to musical performances and luminous events, as well as the fourth consecutive year of earning Forbes Travel Guide Five Star Hotel and Five Star Spa distinction.

Said has had extensive experience across diverse cities, cultures, and hospitality areas. His career first began in his hometown at Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at The First Residence, where he jokes his only English words were yes, no, and please. Said’s determination and eye for detail led to a series of promotions, from Restaurant Manager Trainee and eventually to Bar and Restaurant Manager. In 2006 he moved to the United States, arriving to the bustling Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas as Assistant Room Service Manager, and then moving to Four Seasons Hotel San Francisco as Food and Beverage Manager. Continuing his impressive trajectory, Said was soon promoted to Director of Banquets at Four Seasons Hotel Baltimore. During his time at Four Seasons Hotel Atlanta, Haytham was also a major collaborator in opening a new Four Seasons in South America, and Four Seasons at The Surf Club.

With more than two decades of Four Seasons experience and an unwavering commitment for the highest level of hospitality, Said is passionate about delivering unforgettable service and memorable experiences across the Hotel including The Spa, Evelyn’s Fort Lauderdale, Honey Fitz, and third-level Ocean Sun Deck, home to two pools overlooking Fort Lauderdale’s beachfront within the atmosphere of a private yacht club.

He is known to have a natural eye for detail and an innate ability to anticipate needs. However, what guests and employees appreciate best is the genuine care he showcases as a true Four Seasons ambassador.

Born and raised in Cairo, Egypt, he achieved a Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Tourism at the Higher Institute of Qualitative Studies in Heliopolis in Cairo. Ever seeking growth opportunities and expanding his hospitality knowledge, he later pursued a Master in Global Hospitality Management at Georgia State University.

Whenever he is not making sure everything is running smoothly at the Hotel, he enjoys cooking Thai and Peruvian food, fishing, and watching his favourite team Liverpool football club.
